It had been two days since the other knights found the grail. After her constant whining, they allowed Audrey to see it.
"What is it?" she asked Galahad who was showing her it.
"The Holy Grail." Galahad had been answering her questions for about 10 minutes, ever since Bors stopped.
"Why did you get it?"
"Vision"
"Where did you find it?"
"Castle"
"How many people were guarding it?"
"100"
"How many died?"
"99"
"Why did you kill them?"
"To get to the grail."
"What about the other man?"
"He ran off."
Audrey paused, pondering something.
"What does it do?"
Galahad thought it over.
"I don't know..."
He left and got some other knights. He returned to find Audrey pouring water into it.
"What in blazes are you doing, woman?"
"Drinking..."
"Why?"
"It's a cup, it holds water, need I explain more?"
"I mean why not another grail?"
"This one is prettier. Plus it keeps it cold."
The knights looked at each other. Pericival walked over and dipped his finger in it.
"That bloody stuff nearly burned my finger off!"
His finger was red and swollen.
"But the water is freezing!" Audrey protested.
Galahad dipped his finger in and a butterfly flew out.
"What the...?"
"My turn!" Bedivere declared.
He stuck his finger in and it overflowed, even though it was only half full.
"Coolest. Cup. Ever."
Everyone started sticking their fingers in, every time they did something different happened. When Audrey blew into it snowflakes came out.
"Hey I have an idea..." Tristan smirked.
"What is it?" three or four said in unison.
"Someone kiss it."
Everyone looked nervously at each other. They drew straws and Galahad got the smallest.
"Of course." he muttered under his breath.
When he did it jumped out of his hand. After a loud roar of laughter and some teasing they went back to blowing and sticking fingers in it. After a while everyone heard a gasp.
"What do you blokes think you're doing?" Arthur was standing in the doorway.
"Audrey started it!" someone said.
"Are you children?"
"No sir..." everyone ducked their heads or shielded their eyes.
"I'll put it back..." Galahad said. But he tripped over a rug and the water flew onto Arthur. Butterflies started to fly all over the place. Everyone was suppressing laughter. Eventually someone started laughing and everyone else followed suit, even Arthur couldn't fight it. After a week it became a game to dip your finger in and see what happened. Usually, for Audrey at least, it got extremely cold or froze completely.
Oh you want to know how it was lost?
Well that was pretty simple.
The grail seemed to hate Galahad and jumped out a window one day when he walked into the room.
Some say that it hopped to the Bremuda Triangle.
Personally I think it ended up in someones basement.
The End.
