When Rose and Dimitri first met it was through her best friend's fiancé Christian and he'd immediately caught her attention. He was tall and commanded the room's attention, and he most definitely had hers. Of course Christian introduced the two of them wanting his best friend and his fiancé's best friend to get along.
Even though he was absolutely gorgeous Rose was sure they wouldn't. His best friend was Christian. CHRISTIAN. That said enough. Dimitri has surprised her though, he was well mannered and smart and held himself up to a high standard.
"It's amazing to meet you Dimitri." Rose offered her hand, which Dimitri brought to his lips. It left Rose breathless but who wouldn't be so she pushed it aside. "The pleasures all mine."
Talk about a panty dropping voice.
Lissa smiles from her place standing between them "I'm so happy we finally get to meet you Christian never stops talking about you."
Dimitri smiled sheepishly almost feeling bad for waiting to come around "He talks about you as well he never shuts up."
"Now that's something I can agree with." Rose said into her champagne glass. "That's something we all can agree on." Dimitri laughed.
After that Dimitri was around a lot more. More often than not to see Rose than to spend time with his friend as bad as that sounded. They stuck together like white on rice and many of their friends weren't surprised when they got together. They seemed completely different but at the same time they had so much in common.
It was a blessing and a curse. For that exact reason they could either be a rainbow and cupcakes type of relationship or be at each other's throats like rabid dogs. It honestly depended on how they were feeling and the underlying problem they were facing.
Dimitri spoiled Rose whether she liked it or not. She liked it most of the time. He brought her the prettiest dresses and got her the best hairstylists. Dimitri made sure her nails and toes were always done and she was always stocked up on her favorite lipgloss.
For better words Rose was spoiled rotten; wanting for nothing. Rose was no different from Dimitri, wanting and succeeding at going above and beyond for her man.
It was easy to see why they were
considered a power couple not only by their friends but by the people that laid their eyes on them.
It wasn't the alarm that woke Dimitri but Rose's childlike giggles as she tried to wiggle in between his arms. She could be so childish sometimes; it made him smile no matter the situation. His eyes met her dark ones, they sparkled with childlike mirth.
"I made coffee for you."
Dimitri hummed, squishing Rose's small body to his "And Blini, the kind Mama Belikov taught me to make."
Dimitri sat up causing Rose to laugh. "I even made you a big stack with jam, just the way you like it."
Dimitri groaned suddenly very hungry "Do you want me to bring it to you? You did just get home last night from California I'm sure your still tired." Rose cooed. Her poor baby had been gone the last week investing in a new plot of land she wanted to turn into a center for the homeless and less fortunate. So far they'd opened or invested in several homes across the states that had flourished.
As an activist Rose spent her time helping others and donating to movements and communities like 'BLM' and the 'LGBTQ' to name a few.
Dimitri himself had done so much for the community himself like funding Leukemia research and having charity balls for those diagnosed with it.
Together though they'd done so much more. They'd helped colleges rebuild their campuses and helped students pay back loans and get scholarships.
They both had, had bad childhoods wanting to do better for themselves and began pushing themselves at young ages to make it out of the situations they had been born into. When they'd found out this was something they had in common they both had decided they would do something about it. Wanting to do something to help people in the positions they had once been they'd opened 'VA Enterprises' short for 'Victory Access'.
Together they'd made an Empire. A chain of homes and hospitals for the less fortunate. Dimitri and Rose were honestly amazing individuals. People across the world could attest to that.
Dimitri shook his head "I'm tired not lazy Rose no need to baby me."
Said girl huffed moving to push him back onto his back "I'm not babying you Dimitri like you said your tired so lay back down till I bring you your food."
Dimitri rolled his eyes, knowing Rose like he did she just wanted to feed him like he was a baby. Literally meaning she was babying him but he would let her believe that wasn't what that was.
Rose jumped off the big bed running towards the door "Wait...wait Rose you made breakfast...naked?"
Rose snickered as she shot out their bedroom door.
