Prologue

The sound of a crushing curse in the middle of the night is overwhelming. Your ears tingle from the noise. You froze for a second for another beating of dark curses. Yet you could still use the functionality of your eyes, nose and skin. You see a dozen of dark shadows of figures around coming closer encircling you as if you are a pray, yet you are too paralyzed by fear to move.

You watched down, you held your wand high in a tightly grip. It was a sleek wooden stick with a small sleek curve and fully filled with scratches. An end result of constant use and lack of proper care. An old ragged cloak around you kept you invisible.

You smell the damps of the dark curses and it directly rose to your head, it made you dizzy, the same feeling after a few cold bottles of precious yellow, with white foam - beer. A cold breeze of wind reached your body and after a few moments, your body shivered, maybe by fear, maybe by the cold. But you lost all, because of the deafening noise of damn crushing curses all around you.

A cobalt blue flash of light hit a small tree nearby you, tearing a large hole in one of the branches with a loud piercing roar. Wooden splinters rained down to the ground as the branch trembled and toppled to the ground, slamming down.
