As you might know, if you've seen my profile, I have two obsessions. Ghost Whisperer and Sweeney Todd

So, to challenge myself, now whenever I write a one-shot or drabble for one of them, I'm trying to write one for the other obsession with the same topic.

Does that make sense?

Anyway, pacing came up and here is my Sweeney Todd one, if you'd like to read the Ghost Whisperer one too, of course, it's on my profile. =)

I don't own Sweeney Todd and please excuse the stupid spelling mistakes I make, as usual.

And thanks again to Potogwstcm326 for helping me with the idea for this one =)

Pacing- Sweeney Todd

There the baker sat. Her elbow rested on the arm of Sweeney's barber chair, her cheek bone placed on the base of her palm. Her eyes followed him-back and forth, back and forth. Her face held bottomless boredom and her mouth hung open as if something was happening that she simply couldn't believe.

Well, really, there was. For the barber was just… pacing. Back and forth, back and forth… in front of that window for what seemed like hours now.

And Mrs. Lovett had been watching him, partially hypnotized by his repetitive movement. At first, she had found it slightly charming, how she could just watch Mr. Todd without him caring for as long as she wanted. But as the minutes ticked by, her eyes began to ache as they followed him, and soon, all she could concentrate on was his annoying walking pattern.

Finally standing up, she placed her hands on her hips and sighed. Her eyes still following the path of Sweeney's feet, she said, "Yah know love, you gotta stop this madman pacing sometime…"

Not even an acknowledged grunt came from Sweeney. He continued to walk back and forth, back and forth, his eyes somewhere on the street bellow.

Does the motion not make yah feel ill?

Mrs. Lovett wondered.

Sighing and struggling to get his attention again, she said, "Look deary. You're wearing a rut in the floor. One of these times yah gonna fall right through,"

For once, the mono-toned voice spoke back. "Maybe I'll get lucky and land on the Judge,"

Thanks for reading, and if you have any challenges for me to write about, leave it along with your review, I might use it and it will be appreciated!

Lots of Love!
