Hi! My second fic in English. I just had the idea for a while and thought it could make a nice one-shot. Please read and review. Ah, sorry about the mistakes, English isn´t my first language. Anyway, on with the story.
Just Round The Corner.
It was the most beautiful sunset in Tokio. Mitsuko Akiyama smiled. The awsome view was probably the best thing about working in the Sunshine Building, one of the biggest in the city. She was a secretary who was paid extra money to do the cleaning after everyone else had left. Although it wasn´t the most fancy thing to do, at least it was a well paid one. Certainly, the man who owned the company wanted to save some money… She put the vacuum cleaner aside and moved to the window to admire the city, like every evening, but suddenly her eyes opened in shock and she backed away from the glass. A figure just fell past it. It took her a minute realising that that was most likely a person. A suicide? Mitsuko took a deep breath and went back to the window, expecting to see a dark red spot on the ground. But instead…
A group of people were standing there, all alive, all on their feet. That was impossible! She clearly saw someone falling from the roof and that was a twenty-floor fall. While Mitsuko was still recovering from the confusion she saw another thing that the laws of physics clearly forbid. The person who was dressed in most blueish colors took impulse and jumped from the ground ten or fifteen floors with a snowboard. Mitsuko had a vague thought about how it was the middle of July but was even more shocked than he (a teenage boy actually) seemed to attack another teenage boy who was still standing on the ground. That was too much so she backed from the window again and sat on the nearest chair. Mitsuko took several minutes to calm down and put her mind in order (more or less). She returned to the glass, not letting herself hope that those people weren´t there anymore. The second boy looked now as he was forced down by some invisible weight. The first one was floating a meter or two up from him and smiling. Mitsuko fought the urge to scream and started taking deep breathes. That was if not a dream than a hallucination, these things didn´t happen in real life, only in movies, books and fantasies which weren´t true. She closed and opened her eyes several times trying to scare that away. Then she opened her eyes again the people on the ground were finally gone. She barely got to her feet and ran to the elevator. She needed to go home as soon as possible and the next morning she would be back to her normal life. So it happened.

- Akiyama, come here please, I want to speak to you for a moment.
Yes, Mr. Oyamada?
Why is the office so dirty this morning? I believe I pay you to keep the place clean, isn´t that right?
Yes, sir. It´s just that last night…
I don´t care. This was the only mistake I will tolerate and that is only because it would be to hard to explain everithing to a new secretary. No more fails, Akiyama, no more mistakes.
Yes, sir. – Mitsuko walked out of the office, rolled her eyes and then noticed that the boss´s son was already there, waiting, like every time his father wanted him to learn "business". She really liked the boy, he was nice, unlike his father and they always talked to each other whenever possible. So she said hi and then whispered into his ear: "Your father is such a bastard". Manta grinned up at her and whispered back: "These aren´t news to me, Mitsuko-san". She smiled and took her seat behind the desk. Yesterday was already forgotten. Just another normal day surrounded by just the most normal people. "Manta, your father wants you to come in now". Just normal.
The End.
