"Gross, I feel like we just went swimming in Chlorine Bay." The brunette says, combing her hands through her hair.

"You look cute with your hair soaked in chemicals." The punk replies.

"Thanks, you would know..." she chuckles turning to look at her partner in crime.

The sound of the door alerts the pair, they turn around to see a security guard entering the perimeter. "Hide!" they said simultaneously, both darting for the entrance.

They make their way to the doors before they could hear David's aggravated voice, "Make sure you cover the whole perimeter!" he barks.

"You shitting me." Whispers Max.

The pair backs away from the door and heads straight into the women's locker room. A wide ray of light scans the room as the locker room's door swings and shuts.

Chloe immediately takes the corner between the lockers and the door.

"Dude hide, like when we were kids."

I could use my power…or just look for a hiding spot. Or both.

She walked up to Chloe but was dismissed, saying that there wasn't enough room for her.

Max runs back and forth the locker room looking for a good hiding spot.

Don't waste your power on this Max, who knows if it will fail you.

"Hello? Anybody there?!" the voice was heading towards the room.

She hesitated so much that she found herself back right in front of the door near Chloe, she was so caught up looking for a perfect hiding spot that the guard was already inside the room.

"Better not try any Halloween pranks after today…I'm serious." warned the voice.

The light was slowly pointing towards her direction, she raised her hand, about to use her powers. Suddenly, she felt someone yank her arm.

Before she knew it, her face was buried in Chloe's chest, the taller girl's arms wrapped tightly around her shoulders, holding her as close as possible.

"I heard something over here." his footsteps grew louder.

She could hear Chloe's heartbeat, it was calm as if the punk was used to this kind of hide and seek. Well she is expelled she's got nothing left to loose if she was caught.

"Who's here? I got a flashlight and a stick!" He was slowly scanning the room for any sign of life. Max could see the light on the lockers then the walls from the corner of vision.

Chloe's eyes narrowed looking at the intruder of her splish splash time.

I'll shove both of those up your ass if you find us you fucking kill joy. Max could just rewind anyway.

The guard made his way out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

"The perimeter is clear sir. There's nobody here." Said one of the guards.

"Those sneaky teenagers. Come on, let's lock this place up before they start throwing a pool party." David and his men left the pool, locking the entrance door behind them.

The pair let out a sigh of relief, their muscles relaxed. Chloe's eyes immediately turned to the girl in her arms, a slight blush forms on her cheeks. She lets go of the smaller girl and clears her throat alerting Max of their awkward position.

The punk pushes her way out of the tight spot and stumbles a little. "Well wasn't that fun." She says ruffling Max's hair as the pair make their way back to the exit.

Max lets out a nervous laughter "Ahaha, yea…" Her thoughts were filled with how warm and calming Chloe was, though the scent of chlorine clung onto her clothes she didn't mind it, she thought about how much she wanted that moment to last, forever in her embrace.

Well I could rewind back to that moment and she wouldn't even know.

They took a few steps towards the exit before Chloe grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her, "Max! Are you alright? You're bleeding again. Did you use your powers?"

"Haha, just a little." She replied.

Worth it.
