Disclaimer: I don't own the Infernal Devices!

So there were no regular stories of this series and I wanted to make one. Therefore, here it is. I really hope you like it, if not; well no one's perfect.

Maybe this is stupid. Maybe I shouldn't do this. But if I don't I'll never know. I have to know. Knowledge is much more important than a little embarrassment.
I don't bother to knock on the door leading Will's room. What's the point? He wouldn't be that courteous to me. I walk to his room, and I am definitely not prepared for what I see: Will is reading, but that isn't what shocks me; his shirt is completely unbuttoned and he is immodestly sprawled across his bed.
Without looking up he says, "James come to talk? I'm certainly all ears this evening." I clear my throat and he looks up. "You are not Jem," he says, though, he doesn't sound disappointed. He puts his head back down and continues his book. I don't have the desire to know what he's reading; I just want to know why he read my letters.
"How did you get my letters to Nate?" I say demandingly. He doesn't look up, as if I've said nothing. I walk toward him and pull the book from his hands. He sits up then noticing his open shirt. He doesn't bother to button it back, his perfect muscles clearly visible.
"I asked you a question," I say trying not to let my voice waver.
"I know," he says and looks to the book I took from him. "May I have that back please?" he asks.
"No," I say angrily. "Answer my question, please." He looks me right in the eye, and I feel my knees weaken. His blue eyes so bright in the witch light-NO! I tell myself. He does not have that power over me. I walk towards his book self and point to where I found the letters.
"They were right here, in a book," I say. He still hasn't responded.
"Yes, and are they there now?" he asks.
"I have them! Obviously they are not still on this self!" I say my patience slipping away.
"Then why do you accuse me of having them when they are already in your possession?" he asks coldly. How can he say that? He had, and I took them back because they are mine.
"You had them Will! Don't deny it. I already know you had them. I just want to know why!" I almost shout. This gets his attention and he walks over to me and stands right in front of me so that I have to look straight up to see him.
"I read them, yes." He says breathlessly. "As to why… that I don't know." He has completely lost his mind! I'm sure of it.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I demand. He looks down at me with a very intense gaze.
"It means that I don't know why I do the things I do," he says in a low voice, as if it's a secret. "You make me do impulsive things, Ms. Tessa Gray," why does his voice have to be so low and intoxicating? It's making me crazy. "I can't explain why I did that, or why…" he trails off.
"'Or why…' what? What are you saying?" I try unsuccessfully to keep my voice even.
"Or why I'm going to kiss you," he says slowly. Each syllable rolling off his tongue in a way that makes me extremely dizzy. I don't even have time to process what he's said before he does it. He kisses me. A long sweet kiss, one that you never want to end, but it must end. This is Will. All he wants is a play toy, and I will not be his play toy. I push him away and run back to my room. Safe from everything, or so I think.

So next, in the book, is the scene with Jem and Tessa where they kiss and all that fun stuff. Well I hoped you liked it! Review please!
If there's any OOC stuff, I'm sorry!
