Remembering the Worst
Ray woke up in a small prison cell. The room had four walls and a big metal door. There were no lights or windows, to brighten up this gloomy dark room. Ray was dragged here by two tall men who were wearing camoflage clothes. He coudn't make out there faces because they were wearing masks.
A man with a clipboard came by. He then asked the man on the right a couple of questions.
He asked what color Ray's hair was. The man replied with, "Raven-black." "Eyes?" "Gold."
"Age?" "17." Ray murmured that he was 16 but the man on the left kicked his leg! Then the
two men threw Ray into the cell and locked it.
Ray searched the room it had no bed, not bathroom, nor did it have any windows or light like the other room. Ray glanced down at his boots. They seemed more brown than black because of the mud outside. "How did I get here," he whispered to himself. He leaned against the wall and began to think his day though.
He first remembered waking up in a tent. The blow horn woke him up! "Get up! We have a 7-29," "Oh No! Not a 7-29," Ray yelled as he came out of his trance!
A man with a gun came and unlocked the door. Ray pretended to be asleep The man smirked and hit Ray on the top of the head with the gun! "Don't play dum with me, Kon," he said in a scratchy voice. Then he left and locked the metal door.
Ray tried to get up but couldn't. He was out of breath, so he layed there trying to think what else happened. "I can;t believe I used a 7-2. Wait! What is a 7-29," Ray raced through his mind trying to figure out. "Wait! 7-29 is what -base- was attacked," Ray gasped. He then settled down and thought it over slowly.
He remembered throwing his covers off. Grabbing his shirt and putting it on over his white
t-shirt, pulling his black pants over his black shorts, and quickly slipping on his socks.
He then put his black boots on. he raced out of the tent.
Ray ran to his comander, General S. Dickenson. He hurried towards the trucks with all the
othe officers. The truck then set out. When they got to the base it was completly destroyed.
"Go out and look for survivors," ordered General S. Dickenson.
Ray picked up his gun and leaped out of the truck along with everyone else. They searched through rubble but found dead bodies! They climbed back into the trucks. Everything was quiet. Until...gun shots were heard! A plane flew over them and dropped a bomb onto one of the marine trucks! Smashing it to bits!
The plane then dropped a smoke bomb and everything went dark. All of a sudden Ray was grabbed
by the back of the shirt and fell out of the truck. He was then knocked out by a punch in the
dtomach! Then he woke up to see the two tall men dragging him
"Wow! I can't believe i lived through that," Ray whispered leaning against the cold wall.
He closed his eyes and smiled. "I wonder if anyone else lived through that attack." Ray
then pulled out a picture of a red haired girl with beautiful grey eyes. "I'll be with you
again Salima...my little kitten...I'm sure of it," he said with a smile and soon fell asleep.
