According to rumors, Thor the great god of thunder, never shed a single tear. This was a huge lie. Loki knew for a fact that this was a pile of horse crap. True, he didn't cry as much as mortals, but every once in a while, tears would dare to fall from his eyes. Thinking about it made Loki's heart sink. It was strange to see such a strong man cry. It would hurt. What in the hell could drive such a big strong man such as Thor to cry so hard?

Loki contemplated this as he sat in a chair at the table in his quarters. His knees were tucked close to his chest and his hair hung at his shoulders. His green eyes stared out of the window. Clouds began to form in the sky and thunder rumbled. Loki's face brightened. He knew what that meant; Thor was back from Earth. But something was amiss. The clouds were dark and extra heavy. Usually, they were just light grey. But now they seemed darker. Something was definitely wrong.

Loki crawled out of the chair to go greet Thor at the door. Before he could open his chamber door, Thor threw the door open. He was covered in dirt, sweat and... blood...

"Thor?... What happened?" Loki extended his hand out to him.

"Loki... On earth... It was horrible."

"Shh. You look so worn. Lay in bed." Loki pressed his temple against Thor's.

"Alright." Thor wearily said. They walked over to Loki's bed. Thor took off his boots and cape and such and crawled under the thick warm comforter. Loki followed.

"Loki... I want to rest..."

"Of course, of course."

"It was awful out there-"

"Stop. You shouldn't talk about it. You need to rest." He put his finger to Thor's lips.

"Okay. Thank you." Thor weakly smiled. He wrapped his arms around Loki's neck and held his close. Loki nuzzled his face into Thor's neck. He fell asleep thinking about how warm his neck was.

Loki awoke to the soft sound of sniffles. Loki thought it was his imagination or that he was still dreaming. But there it was again. A whimper. He turned on his side to see Thor curled into ball.

"Thor? Thor tell me. What pains you? Tell me." He said sympathetically. Thor sniffled and whimpered.

"Thor, please tell me what's wrong." Thor sat up and turned to Loki.

"Loki, it was horrible. There was so much blood. I can't believe mortals would do that to each other. Women, children... everyone." There were tears falling down his cheeks.

"Oh gods... Thor, come here." Loki wrapped his arms around Thor. Thor rested his head in Loki's lap and clutched his hips. Loki stroked his hair.

"Thor, it's okay." Loki was on the verge of tears himself.

"I can't hold it in anymore, Loki. The wars were to much to bear." Thor shuttered.

"It's okay, let it out." Thor sobbed and sobbed until Loki's pajama pants were soaked with tears. After about 7 minutes, Thor sat up.

"Loki, I thank you. After what I saw... I just needed to let out as much as I could." Thor's eyes were red and puffy but he smiled at Loki none the less. He held his face in his large slightly rough hands.

"Thor, I really admire you." Thor tilted his head to the side.

"That is very kind of you, but why?" His hand was still placed on his cheek.

"Because even when something as serious as this happens, you're not afraid to show what you really feel. You're not just a solider; you're the bravest warrior ever. That is what I truly admire in you." Loki saw another tear drip down Thor's cheek.

"Oh, Thor! I'm sorry. Did I say something?" Loki cupped Thor's cheeks with his hands. Thor held them. But when he looked up, he was smiling.

"What you said was perfect. Loki, these are now tears of happiness. There is nothing to fear. What you said was the most perfect thing you could've said." Thor pressed his lips against Loki's. Loki held his lover's face. They pulled away too soon.

"You know what else is perfect?" Thor said smirking.

"What?"

"You."
