Sorry it's short, I dunno what I'am doing.
A bright blinding blue light. Not surprisingly he could still see it despite his eyes being tightly screwed shut. Amidst his confusion his mind seemed to grasp on to one thing.
Everything hurt.
Well not exactly everything, he couldn't feel his arm. That wasn't really a surprise at all. He hadn't been able to feel his right limb for a long time. A scarlet stained head lifted itself slowly with a strained groan. Shifting his body the young alchemist blindly searched with his left hand to find the missing limb. His flesh hand connected to something cold and he pulled it back towards his prone body. He'd have to put it back on, that thought gave him no comfort as he struggled to sit up. The teen gave the metal limb a quick look over, pleased to see it wasn't that damaged besides a few dents he could fix with a little alchemy. His ribs ached…they were probably broken. But…that didn't matter. Something was bothering him worse than his injuries, a nagging ache at the back of his head that reminded him he couldn't remember how he had gotten here… and he had no idea where Alphonse was.
"Uh lady…?" Golden eyes flickered with annoyance as the portly woman dressed in blue babbled on and on in a language he had no hope of understanding, completely ignoring the fact he had spoken. He didn't have time for this he needed to find his little brother. Then again Al was probably having a better time then he was here, wherever here was. That was, if he was assuming the gate, or whatever had taken them here had spat out his brother in the same place. Al was easy to get along with, he wouldn't be surprised if he already found someone to help him. Though the language barrier would be a problem for both of the young lost alchemists.
"Alright I'm leaving." Ed huffed turning swiftly on his heel to walk opposite direction. The woman seemed surprised, halting in her lengthy speech to stare at him. The short alchemist didn't pause when she called for him opting to continue through the small village. The woman probably just thought he was a lost child. The thought made him twitch slightly, because if anything he was NOT a child, lost yes, but still not a child. Counting up the days, he decided it had been about a week since he had quite literally dropped into this place. After reconnecting his arm and doing what he could to fix himself up with some medical supplies he managed to scrounge up, he had stumbled upon this strange little village. They all seem to be speaking a language similar to what they spoke in Xing. Unfortunately it wasn't. So in other words he had no way of communicating with the villagers. They didn't seem to mind him but they had no qualms with staring at him as he walked down the small streets of the little village.
He needed to think. To come up with a plan. He needed to find Al… and a way home.
He refused to linger on the stray thought that perhaps, his brother wasn't even here. That maybe..just maybe he was alone here.
