A CHRISTMAS DISASTER

It was a week before winter break, snow was falling over Peach Creek. It was a peaceful Monday when the principle announced there was going to be a school production of Charles Dickens' ,"A Christmas Carol," and since the lady who was supposed to direct the play was sick, he put Edd in charge of production. Edd couldn't have been happier. He urged everyone to join the cast. Reluctantly, everyone did, and had exactly one week to make this a master piece. It was a tight squeeze, but Edd was up to the challenge.

He gave everyone there rolls:

"Eddy, you will be Ebenezer Scrooge,"

"Ed, you will be Scrooge's abused, unpaid clerk, Bob Cratchit ,"

"Rolf, you will be Scrooge's nephew."

"Kevin, you will be Scrooges old business partner, Jacob Marley."

"Jonny, you will be……. Uh…. The paperboy,"

"Jimmy and Sarah, you will be Bob Cratchit's son and daughter,"

"Nazz, you will be Bob Cratchit's wife,"

"Lee, you will be the Ghost of Christmas Past,"

"Marie, you will be the Ghost of Christmas Present,"

"May, you will be the Ghost of Chirstmas Future,"

Edd handed everyone a script to read overnight, and since today was the introduction to the script, they had only 4 rehearsal days, can Edd pull this play off without it being ruined? Can he shape these kids up before the big opening. Edd's parent's were going to be there, and he did not intend to for them to think of me as a failure as a director.
