Kagome was sitting on a swing in her park with a piece of paper and a pencil in her hands.

I was something silly her friends were passing around…on the sheet was a bunch of names with circles around them.

"Kagome!"

Kagome jerked her head up to see who was calling her name.

Inu Yasha.

She sighed, and shook her head. "What are you doing here? I told you I would be coming later this afternoon."

"Well, you were taking to long, so I thought I'd come get you" he said like it was a perfectly good explanation.

"I'm not ready to leave yet, I'll come later." she looked back down at the paper to think again.

"Then, I'm staying till you come", he walked over to investigate what she had "why does that have a whole bunch of names in circles"
"Well, there's a quote on the top that says 'If you love someone, don't put their name in a heart, but place it in a circle. A heart can be broken, but a circle goes on forever.'. So, my friends are passing this around and we are suppose to put the person we loves name in a circle somewhere on the page" she explained.

"Who's name did you put?", he asked.

She folded the paper up, "I haven't put anyone's name…yet"

He raised an eyebrow, "Who's name are you going to put?"

"It's a secret", she grinned "ok, I'm ready to go."

She skipped happily past him and made her way home. When she got there she put the paper into her bag.

In the Federal Era...(later that night)...

It was almost time to go to sleep, Kagome was now positive on who's name she was going to put down…she grabbed the paper and a pencil. After unfolding it, she found a new circle in the upper left hand corner.

"Kagome"

The name was sloppily written, as was the circle…but still Kagome felt her eyes fill with tears as she recognized the handwriting.

She jolted down the name of her loved one and went to bed.

The next day, she was leaving to go back to her time to get a book she had forgotten. As she was leaving she quickly gave a note to Inu Yasha and bolted away, into the well.

In the Modern Era...

Kagome was collecting her book from her room, when she heard some one enter…Inu Yasha…

He didn't say a word, he came over to her and kissed her, then hugged her…as he held her tight a piece of paper dropped from his pocket, onto the floor…on it was a picture of a circle with his name written in it.

"I love you, Kagome, and that love will never end" he whispered in her ear.

THE END

A/N: Not my best work but what do you think?
