Note: I do not own Romeo x Juliet...and this is somewhat a backstage drama...

After Act I...

"Willy!!" Juliet whine. "How could you do this to me? You know full well that I don't like Romeo! He's such a wimp and always run to his mother when I bully him."

William only smiled at her. "Now, now Juliet...you shouldn't pick on your leading man. That is bad for your fans. They all know that Romeo is a steadfast, strong and fearless warrior from the Montague family."

"Yes, I know that." Juliet muttered. "But look at him! He's cowering behind his mother at this moment! And I haven't done anything yet!"

From the farthest corner, they heard Romeo muttered, "Bitter old hag...always bullying the weak..."

Juliet rounded onto him, with a mad look. "What's that....you said...Romeo...?"

Romeo cowered behind his mother. When Juliet turned towards him, he bolted right out behind his mother and ran for his life. Juliet gave chase, and the two of them were watched by their co-artists. William only sighed.

"Francisco?" he said.

"Yes, Willy?"

"You don't have any complaints, do you?"

"Nothing..."

"Good..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...okay, why don't you spit it out, Francisco? I know you have a complaint too..."

"Two questions."

"Fire away."

"Why am I stuck with Curio?"

"Because...the two of you look good together. You, a cool person, and Curio as a hot head."

"I beg your pardon?" Curio boomed from the other side of the room. "Who said that I'm a hot head?"

"I told you." William shrugged. Francisco only sighed. "Okay, never mind the second question."

"Oh, I don't mind."

"If you insist...do I really have to dress up like a guy, like Odin in the play?"

"I beg your pardon, Francisco?"

"Why do I have to dress up like a guy?"

"But...aren't you a guy?"

"Most certainly not!" Francisco replied with dignity. "I'm a female, but my parents had always wanted a son, so I have no choice but to act like one for their sake!"

"That still doesn't change the fact that you're still a woman, Francisco." Tybalt said as he passed. Francisco looked at him with dagger eyes.

"You should be thankful that I made your character a male, Francisco." William said. "Or else I might have paired you up with Tybalt."

Francisco and Tybalt glared at him. Everyone knew that the two of them are having a big rivalry between who's the best. Though, William felt a third glare from behind and when he turned to look, he saw Curio giving him a death glare.

"Don't even think of doing that, Willy." Curio breathed. Willy nodded weakly.

"DON'T RUN, YOU WIMP!" Juliet screamed, brandishing her sword wildly. "COME AND FIGHT ME!" She's still giving chase to Romeo who's running away frantically, even using Conrad, Cordelia and Lancelot as his human shield against the wild Juliet.
