"Luffy, just tell me where you're taking me."

The lanky boy only laughed and continued to tug her along the path. The blindfold covering Nami's eyes was taut around her head and let not even a tiny bit of light seep through. At the very least, she knew they were outside, obviously still on the island they had docked at the day before. Now, here she was blindfolded and being pulled through the forest at a steady incline.

"We're almost there," he whispered in a sing-song voice.

"Luffy, this is ridiculous. Where are we going?" She urged again, hoping to get a response this time around.

"Shishishi, it's a secret," his childish laughter echoed through the trees.

The hill was gradually becoming steeper and after awhile he had to slow his pace in order to help her over rocks and tree stumps as the trail slowly dissapeared. A light breeze sent a chill down her spine and the air suddenly thined out and Nami felt as if they had left the forest for a clearing. Confusion overwhelmed her for a moment and she missed Luffy explaning to her of their arrival to their destination. She looked around, despite still being unable to see, however she felt the surroundings and could tell where, sort of, they were. He was speaking again and she missed it.

"Hmm?" She asked turning her head in his general direction.

"We're here," he whispered again as if afraid the world might discover them. She felt him move closer and remove the blindfold. A breeze swept up and caught her head on fluffing her hair and causing her to shiver. She opened her eyes and her breath caught in her chest. They stood upon a cliff over looking the vast ocean and the setting sun. Rays of dark reds, oranges, yellows, purples spread across the clouds in the skies and reflected off the waves far off in the distance.

"Luffy…" She was speechless and couldn't find words to describe how beautiful the sight was.

"Nami," He whispered into her ear as his arms encircled her waist pulling her back against his body. She turned her head to look back at him and he kissed her cheek. "It's not as beautiful as you are, Nami… I like you a lot more."

"Like?" She tilted her head slightly and turned to face him fully. His hands moved to rest on her hip bones.

"Love. I love you, Nami," he dropped his gaze as his cheeks flamed with color.

Nami brought her hand up to lift his chin. Their eyes met again and she closed the distance, pressing her lips against his in a searing kiss.

"I know, Luffy."
