Byakuya stepped into the small shop in Rukongai. He didn't know why Ukitake took so much pride in his tea collection if he didn't even drink it. It reminded him of his grandfather, Ginrei. . .
He quickly dismissed the thought and began to search around for the white plum blossom tea that his captain had requested. Things would have been much easier had he just asked the sleeping man at the counter, but he refused, not wanting to seem needy.
After searching through every nook and cranny of the tiny store, the young Kuchiki heir gave up and began the death march to the cashier.
The man was sleeping, but when he awoke he almost jumped out of his skin when he saw that a shinigami was inside his store.
"H-how may I-I help you, S-sir!"
Byakuya sighed and asked the man for the tea.
The short man scratched his bald head and sighed. "That particular tea must be ordered. Let me get an order form for you, and I shall have it delivered."
"Hai," Byakuya said as he leaned against the wall, watching the old man disappear.
"Hisana!" he could hear him call into the dark abyss of the shops backroom.
Soon enough a beautiful woman emerged with a few papers and tea samples. "How may I help you?"
