Hello this poem was inspired by the last season of Yu-Gi-Oh. I originally had to do it for an english project for senior year of high school, and I got a 100 so...I guess I did something right. Who knows. Anyways please review if you wish to. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not in anyway own the anime, or manga named Yu-Gi-Oh. Nor did I create it. Kazuki Takahashi is the owner, and creator of the series.

His spirit came back to this world from a puzzle

and now resides in the body of his reincarnation

The little one asks "Who are you?"

but the spirit cannot respond

The spirit says "I have no memory of my past."

"I will help you," says the little one

The two journey with friends

searching for clues of the Spirits past

Encountering villains never phase them

and always teaching lessons on belief in ones self

They have saved the world four times over

and have gathered three keys and seven items

The Spirit now has an inkling of who he is

A Pharaoh of Egypt 5,000 years ago

But he still has no memory of his past

nor any memory of his name

Now he must go to his homeland

where he must raise the keys to the sacred tablet

The Pharaoh descends down a tunnel to the past

only to find himself being crowned

He becomes breathless at the sight of the crowd

standing in their earthly clothes

They are calling, crying "Pharaoh, Pharaoh"

The priest, peasants, and servants all pay homage

The people celebrate their new Pharaoh

Yet he ponders "Did I really travel back into the past?"

But all is not well for an evil lurks in the shadows

A thief appears from the darkness bent on destruction

Clutched in his hand the former Pharaoh's weapon

The ultimate battle begins

The two engage in an ageless battle

A shadowy, winsome smile appears from the thief

as he holds the stolen seven items

The items are placed in the sacred stone

As they are suspended in the air, they are soon scattered

for the Dark one has been conjured

A crescent moon falls behind shadowing, clouded skies

as the little one and his friends search through woven parchments for a name

In the distance the Dark one is coming

His eyes are crimson and resembles a cobra

He begins rambling on about Egypt's demise

for no mortal weapons can destroy him

The seven items are found nestled in the sand

and are carried by a young priestess

The Pharaoh receives his sacred puzzle

for now he must summon the three great Gods

Still the Pharaoh must have his name to seal the evil

The little one has found it and it is...
