A/N: For those who have read my other story, Tempest the Turk, sorry about not posting yet, but I've started this story up as a way to hopefully kill my Writer's Block, so TTT is officially on a temporary hiatus. Hopefully, once I get a few chapters of this story up, I'll have figured out how to defeat the heinous creatures that are assailing my brain. If that still doesn't work, I'll try another story if this one follows TTT to the Injured Tent. I do have countless plotbunnies that I've noted down after all, including several FFVII and Harry Potter Fics, as well as a strange crossover that combines atleast five different shows/games/books.

Better stop typing while I'm ahead,

Happy Reading!

How My Brother Conquered The World . . .

Prologue

You Want To Hear A Story?

A little boy with short blond hair came running into a room to stop before a figure, half-shadowed, sitting at a window table, a book and pen in hand.

"Well, hello there," a female voice said in amusement. "You know you aren't allowed to run inside unless there are fiends."

He pouted, "I know . . . but father said you promised me a story!"

She laughed slightly and closed the book, "Well, your father was right, I did promise you a story, but which one should I tell?"

"Don't you have a new one?" He seemed rather put out.

"A new one?" she seemed surprised, "I thought you said you liked Tidus's story the best?"

He shrugged, "It is, but you've got one you haven't told yet, don't you?"

"I don't know . . ."

"Please!?"

"Oh, alright," she leaned back, "Well, there was one that you might like, are you sure you want a new one?"

He nodded frantically and jumped slightly, "Yes! Yes! I'm sure!"

"Well, I'll tell you my story," she seemed to smile.

His mouth opened in surprise, "Your story!?"

She nodded and motioned for him to sit down, "Yes, my story, it's been awhile but I think I can remember all the important parts."

She took a book off a nearby shelf and ran a finger over the words etched into the cover, "But I'll use this just in case."

"The Journal!?"

"Mm-hmm," she opened it and he waited with bated breath as she read from inside:

You already know the story of Tidus and Yuna and the story of Lenne and Shuyin, or else you wouldn't have found this story. Three years after the beginning of the Eternal Calm, another story began. This story is about a boy who made a mistake and a girl who was sent to fix it. It's about how you must trust in both your friends and in yourself, about how home isn't always where you were raised, and how the ties of blood can be defeated by the strength of your heart. It's about how the hardest things to do, are to trust, believe and love.

Within these pages can this story be found.

This is my story.

The story of how my brother conquered the world.
