Sarah MacKenzie walks through her home holding a cup of coffee, or "marine mud" as her husband liked to call it. Her husband of two years, Harmon Rabb Jr., was probably back asleep in bed; it was her turn to get the baby after all.
Quietly she feeds the baby before returning the sleeping infant to the crib. Hopefully, there won't be another feed for another couple of hours. She is looking to spend some alone time with Mr. Rabb, which is rare to come by with the newest addition to the Rabb family.
Sh finishes her coffee and goes in search for her husband, not in the bedroom, kitchen, nursery, or the living room. Which really only leaves one place and he couldn't still be in there.
She walks toward the bathroom and peeks around the corner. There he is, in front of the mirror, in deep concentration; a comb in his hand and the radio on, wearing only a pair of white boxers.
She looks at his body in awe until he moves and turns the radio up then she moves out of his line of sight. He has been in there for a while now working on making his hair just right, in his opinion anyways. She doesn't tell him that it looks perfect any way he has it.
Soon listening to the radio isn't enough; he starts swaying his hips and singing. She holds back her laughter and watches as he uses the comb as a microphone.
A stroke through his hair then a word, another stroke and another word.
When he starts playing the air guitar she can't hold back her laughter anymore. He turns quickly as she holds her stomach through her laughter. His cheeks turn a light pink before he asks her, "How long have you been there?"
"Long enough. Why are you still messing with your hair?"
"It isn't wanting to cooperate today."
"Harm, you have been in here for 31 minutes and 28 seconds. You look as sexy as ever; now stop being obsessed with your hair. We could be doing other thingsā¦"
"It is hardly an obsession, Mac."
"You can walk away anytime?"
"Anytime!"
She walks over and puts her hand in his hair and messes it up. It sticks out every which way and she smiles as she asks him, "How about now?"
