Fire jutsu – is the health risk worth the power!

Medical ninja have started issuing health warnings to all fire jutsu users. The risk posed by fire jutsu can no longer be ignored. Top most on the list of concerns is that fire jutsu uses all the oxygen in the immediate environment which could lead to lightheadedness or even fainting. Both of which leave the ninja open to attack. There is also the chance of breathing in the super heated air and scorching the lungs causing permanent damage. Not to mention the risk of burns while learning to use fire jutsu.

Research shows that primary fire nature manipulation ninja are at the least risk as their nature tends to offer some protection. Other nature manipulation ninja are not so fortunate. Studies reveal that water jutsu users have a lower risk than wind jutsu users. Secondary fire nature manipulation users don't appear to have any 'added' protection. Multiple jutsu users should consider using fire jutsu as a last resort.

One ninja admitted that he had burnt himself on several occasions while learning fire jutsu but claimed it made him learn faster.

"There is not much we can do with that attitude," stated one medical ninja. "We can only put the information out there. It's up to the ninja themselves."

Is the risk worth the power gained? Many ninja feel the risk is worth it.

"Yes, there is risk," states one fire jutsu user, "but everything in life is a risk. You just have to decide which risks are worth taking."
