Prologue
His worst fear, his worst nightmare has come true.
He can't tell if his heart has stopped or it is beating fast. He thinks his heart is currently managing to do both. If that is believable. It seems that his heart is in his throat. He can feel the sweat on his face and the tears in his eyes.
This can't be happening. This can't be happening. This can't be happening.
He doesn't even wait for the truck to stop before he is out of the truck, running towards the school. The school that is currently on fire. He sees multiple students, some he recognizes, but he can't seem to find the one face he is looking for.
Where the hell is she?
Where the hell is his daughter?
