Prologue: The Encounter
With great effort, the blood-red, setting sun penetrated the dense crowns of trees. Only here and there, the sun's rays succeeded to fight through the dense foliage.
A
seventeen year old, teenager went comfortably under the huge trees.
His black hair let the wind dance gently in his face. His skin was so
smooth and seemed as fragile as porcelain. With his black eyes, which
shone beautifully in the sun, he looked emotionless and
expressionless stubbornly straight.
They showed no signs of fear.
Normal people would have fear in this forest.
There was
a rumor:
However, if no light falls on the forest floor, demons
and evil spirits came from their hiding among the roots.
And if a
person was in their vicinity, they disappeared without trace.
But the
boy did not believe in these tales.
Whether he would disappear or
not, it was important. He had no one who would care. Currently, he
would rather die. He had no more goals. Nothing more, what his life
would make sense.
His biggest goal had been fulfilled, his life
was lived.
A crackling fire was the only source of light in the black night.
The calls of owls, wolves and other predatory animals came to the ears of the young man. Just as the dying sounds of their victims. Even the wind, which blew through the trees let go a whisper through the night.
A spooky whisper, which would freeze the blood of someone.
But again, the boy showed no reaction to it. For him it was something normal to hear these noises.
These
sounds have accompanied him an eternity.
So he ate his sparse
meal and stared into the fire. Suddenly, the wind contributed noises
to his ear, which had nothing to do with the sounds of the night.
It was only very weakly to hear, but it seemed like it would cry a little child in the near.
The young man wondered what a small child would around this time in the woods. But then he ousted this issue and focused again on the dancing flames
After five minutes he stood up. His conscience told him to find the child. But that did not fit him.
For five years, he had no qualms, to kill, torture and even rape people.
It did not
matter if women and children had cried for their husbands, fathers,
or parents. It was unimportant. And what now?
He went in the
middle of the night through a dark forest and looking for an child,
which he didn't even know.
And only because his conscience felt it necessary now after five years back to do his work.
Grumpy, so he went through the forest. Dextrous, he jumped on the surrounding roots and tree stumps. A torch, he had not there. Why should he?
His blood heritage allowed him, to see in the darkness everything sharp and precise.
He ran
long in the direction of the weeping and was already fairly close.
He could hear it clearly. His gaze wandered through the woods and
stayed in a small clearing hang.
There he saw in the silver moonlight a small figure, which was anxious and trembling on the ground.
This small person wept. The boy wanted to go to the child but then he remembered the horror story .. And he wondered whether this really was a child, or one of these monsters who should be lurking in the woods. He shook his head. "Now I think even at such a crap."
He mumbled to himself but he is still approached cautiously and silently the clearing.
