I hope you guys like music from "Wicked" 'cause this is Lenny singing one of those songs. The song is really called "I'm Not That Girl", but Lenny's singing about how Lino will never see him as "that son". Lenny sings the whole song and Frankie (from Heaven) sings the reprise at the end.

I'm Not That Son

It's about seven at night. Lenny excitedly knocks on his father's office door. Don Lino opens the door and sees his son smiling at him.

"What is it Lenny?" Lino asks in a disturbed voice, "I have to get ready to leave in a few minutes."

"I know," says Lenny, "We really have to get going before…"

"We?"

Lenny's smile vanishes.

"You and I were supposed to go to the Titanic Museum, remember?"

Lino smacks himself on the forehead.

"Lenny, I completely forgot! I can't go, Frankie and I are goin' to watch a Boxing match at the Wrestling Stadium."

"Tonight?"

"Yeah," Lino says, "You can go by yourself, can't ya?"

"Well I guess so, but…"

"Good. I gotta go. I'll see ya later, Son!"

Lino swims off without even looking back at Lenny.

Luca, who is sitting at the piano in Lino's office, randomly begins playing "I'm Not That Girl". Lenny pays no mind to Luca playing nor does he go into the office, instead he begins to sing along.

"Knuckles touch, eyes meet,

Sudden silence, sudden heat,

Both laugh and make joyful puns,

He could be that dad,

But I'm not that son.

Don't dream too far,

Don't lose sight of who you are,

Don't remember being his little lad,"

Looks at a picture of his five-year-old self sitting on Lino's shoulder

"He could be that dad,

I'm not that son.

Every so often we long to steal to the land of what-might-have-been,

But that doesn't soften the ache we feel when reality sets back in."

Looks out a porthole and sees Lino and Frankie joking and laughing outside

"Half smile, tough limb,

He who's masculine, he wins him,

Tall, bold, over twenty-one,

That's the son he chose,

And Heaven knows,

I'm not that son."

Looks down at the floor and closes his eyes

"Don't wish, don't start,

Wishing only wounds the heart,

I wasn't born for the laughs and the fun,

There's a son I know, he loves him so,

Lino and Frankie leave with their fins on each other's backs

I'm not that son."

Luca stops playing and Lenny swims slowly to his room.

(Reprise)

Frankie, now dead and in Heaven, looks down to Earth and sees his father and brother hugging inside Sykes' Whale Wash.

"I love you, Son," he hears Lino say to Lenny, "No matter what you eat or how you dress."

Frankie feels jealous that Lino loves Lenny just for being his own psycho, weakling, fish-loving (Frankie's words, not mine) self. When Frankie was alive, Lino only loved him because he was what his dad wanted him to be.

A few angels right next to Frankie begin playing the "I'm Not That Girl" reprise on their harps and he begins to sing.

"Don't wish, don't start,

Wishing only wounds the heart,"

He sees Lenny rest his head against Lino's shoulder and Lino pats him on the back

"There's a son I know,

He loves him so,

I'm not that son."
