A/n: just a quick sweet little nothing i wrote up in like 20 minutes.

Hinata gazed out of the window of the moving bus, her pale eyes following the passing trees and the occasional crack in the sidewalk. It was early in the morning and the bus was full, everyone trying to get to their jobs, rubbing the sleep out of their eyes. Hinata was no exception, she was also heading to her job- she worked at a daycare and that meant she had to get up early, and the daycare itself being on the other side of the city didn't exactly help much.

She really liked her job, especially the kids, they were sweet.. Most of the time anyway. She smiled remembering the one time she laid herself down on the classroom floor out of fatigue and all the children gathered up around her to check if she was okay, the gesture wound have been sweet – considering it was two to three year olds that she was sitting who lacked any signs of empathy most of the time – if they hadn't all started jumping on her afterwards using her as a living trampoline.

The bus stopped suddenly and Hinata looked over her shoulder to the driver's cabin hoping her glare would pierce the door and freeze him to death. It wasn't like her to show ill will toward anyone but this driver she disliked unapologetically, since every time he stopped Hinata always almost fell out of her seat.

The bluette huffed and turned back to gaze out of the window, looking but not really seeing the people leaving the public transport.

Her curious pale eyes caught a glimpse of black hair, of a man that had just excited her bus along with another dozen or do people. His hair shined in dark blue in the rays of the morning sun. Hinata looked down slightly only to meet deep black eyes looking back at her, realizing she was caught staring she hurriedly avoided the man's gaze.

Hinata's eyes looked down but she could still see out of the corner of her eye the reflection of dark blue coming from the young man's hair. Not being able to help herself she looked back up, because surely the man was looking somewhere else already, there was nothing interesting to look at in this direction anyway.

Just as her eyes focused on his face she realized that two things. First was that he had started moving heading the direction in which the bus was driving to, unavoidably facing Hinata's general direction . And second was that he was still shamelessly looking at her.

Hinata couldn't help but a split second of pure aesthetical admiration for the young man's facial features. Pale complexion, deep onyx eyes, the silky yet spiky looking raven hair, the young man was very handsome indeed.

She jumped in surprise when out of nowhere he winked up at her then smirked sweetly somehow. Even in her shock she couldn't the smile that formed on her lips or the blush that was creeping up her neck.

They continued smiling at one another for the next what felt like ten minutes. Even though realistically it was probably three seconds before the bus doors closed up before the vehicle itself left the station leaving the smirking young man behind.

For the rest of the bus ride Hinata smiled dumbly up at the sky, her mind filled with thoughts of a raven-haired stranger.

another a/n: if you liked this make sure to check out my other work "How To Catch a Crime Syndicate", much longer(its going to be a long story i promise), darker and no where near as sweet.
