"Jennifer, dinner's almost ready go and wash up." her father James Comings would call to her upstairs. As he waited for his daughter's arrival for dinner he looked at some bills for the home, the cell phones, and the car. James was a single parent for about ten years. Jennifer's mother got in a car crash and went into coma. She never woke up.
"Jennifer! Hurry up, your pasta is getting cold. Jennifer? Jennifer?" James walked upstairs into his daughter's bedroom only to see her lying on the ground on the other side of the bed. "Jennifer! Jennifer! Wake up sweetie. Wake up, please!" James saw an orange container next to his Jennifer's body. "Oh my god. How many pills did you take?"
Jennifer barely opened her eyes. "Dad. What are you doing?" "What are you doing with my pills Jennifer?" he franticly asked her but she only closed her eyes again and her head fell to the side.
James ran out of her room and picked up the cordless phone. He dialed the numbers 9 then 1 and then 1. A woman answered. "9-1-1.What is you emergency?" The woman asked. "My daughter. She is passed out. I think that she overdosed on my pills. I found them next to her and the container is empty. I just refilled them two days ago!" "Sir, just stay calm. We're sending an ambulance."
