Happy Accident

Miki hadn't given the matter any in-depth thought, like where and when exactly, what would the lighting be like and what variety of roses would be involved, but he had thought about what he'd like his first kiss to be like; Miki had wanted his first kiss to be perfectly planned out to the last detail, masterfully composed like any of his songs on the piano, as well put together as one of his college essays, and as prepared as one of his speeches before the student council.

Unfortunately for Miki, those dreams were dashed, for he'd been about to congratulate Juri for besting him in their private fencing match when he stumbled forward and stopped with his face on Juri, his lips over hers. His face went infrared, beyond the human eye's ability to perceive, and he pulled away the moment he regained the use of his faculties. "M-M-Miss Juri!" He bowed his deepest and most practiced bow. "Forgive me, it was an accident!"

"Miki..." He looked up, and froze at the sight of the pink that dusted Juri's cheeks. "If that's what you can do by accident, I should like to see what you can do when you kiss me on purpose." Miki's throat went dry and his hands went clammy. "Well?"

"If, if that's what you want, Miss Juri." Miki gulped, got close to Juri again and let his lips join with hers. He felt his stopwatch fall away, and he felt no urge to pick it back up.
