Madeyefire: This is the beginning of a fanfiction I requested on LittleRedCrazyHood's . The following short fanfiction is about Maria Young, one of my characters. She is a fifth year redhead Ravenclaw who is deaf (not a big deal here, right?). The following is based on the roleplay when she, for some reason, brought some love potions (and a bottle of ten-second pimple vanisher). Christian is a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts in the same year as Maria. This chapter is written by LittleRedCrazyHood.
She looks at the heart-shaped bottle, tossing it from one hand to another, the pink liquid moving in the container. She's careful not to break it, but she wonders why she even bought the thing in the first place. Not like she's going to use it on Christian... right? She hasn't seen him in a while, and they've barely talked since their last encounter.
She doesn't like him that way, does she? Christian's just a friend, her sweet, dorky friend. Her sweet, dorky friend with a nice face anyway. There. That's it. All feelings are platonic, none romantic whatsoever.
Maybe just one percent of her feelings are not platonic. Two percent. Five percent. Ten percent. Definitely nothing higher than ten percent. (Fifty/Fifty, maybe?)
Still, Christian doesn't deserve this. He's too nice for that, and she knows the effects of a love potion, and of course she wouldn't want anyone to be in love with her just because of pink liquid, right? They should love her for who she is. (Sounding like a grown-up, much?)
Besides, she isn't that grown up if she's thinking of slipping it in someone else's drink. Maybe one of those Slytherins from last term? Make them fall in love with someone not-so-desirable?
She grins to herself mischievously, and tucks the love potions into her robe's pocket.
Someone's going to get a surprise in their pumpkin juice this morning, she thinks to herself.
