"Ahhh!"

"Ahhh!"

Eli laughed, and Clare snuggled closer to him. She was shaking, which he thought was adorable.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "It's not funny!"

"Aww, Clare Bear's afraid of The Amityville Horror…" he mocked in a baby voice.

"I hate you!" she punched him jokingly in the arm.

"No, you don't. You love me."

"Yeah, yeah I do."

"I love you, too, Edwards."

He kissed her, then another scream escaped the TV speakers and she jumped and pulled away, covering her eyes.

He chuckled and put his arm around her. He looked outside. "It's raining."

"Ugh, I hate rain."

"I love rain… Is Clare Bear afraid of thunderstorms too?" he joked in that same mocking tone.

"Maybe a little bit…" she blushed, the apples of her cheeks turned pink. She jumped at another scream and hid her eyes in Eli's shirt and he laughed once again. He reached for the remote and pressed the "OFF" button.

"Are you hungry?"

"A little." He grabbed her hand and led her into the kitchen. He put some leftover spaghetti in the microwave and walked over to the window where Clare was standing. Thunder clapped and she quickly spun around and leaped into his arms.

"It's okay, Clare! I'm here."

She grasped onto him tighter, "Sorry, I've never really been fond of thunder."

"I don't mind, I like being this close to you."
With that he kissed her. A sweet, soft, long kiss.

The microwave beeped and she pulled away. He put the plate on the table and grabbed two forks.

"Sorry, only one meatball."

"You have it." She pushed it towards him with her fork. And he'd never admit this, but he was reminded of his favorite childhood movie, Lady and the Tramp. To add to the mood, he wrapped a piece of spaghetti around his fork and held it up to her mouth. As she ate it, he unraveled the rest of the food on the fork and brought it to his mouth. Soon they met in the middle, and shared the cutest kiss he could imagine.

End!

I'm sorry it was so cheesy! It might be awful, I don't know… Let me know what you think and if I should delete it!
