I Do not own Avatar: The Last Air Bender - Nor Stargate Atlantis. If I did, you can bet Avatar would still be going, and Beckett would have never died.

Yantari : The Safe Planet

"Remember, I will be on this hunt for a week at the very least." Tayla paused, "Are you sure that you had no need for me during that time?"

"Yes Tayla, I'm sure," Dr. Weir had a wry smile over her face as she stood over a computer screen with her arms crossed, talking to Tayla. "You go ahead and enjoy your leave." Tayla opened her mouth but Dr Weir cut her off. "Go." Tayla smiled and nodded as she ended the transmission and the gate shut off.

"She finally signed off?" McKay asked rather incredulously from underneath a panel where he was fixing some relays.

"Yes Rodney, she did." Sheppard replied as he stood over Rodney's feet. "You got it fixed yet?"

"Yes yes, almost," some sparks flew out and Rodney yelped in surprise. He crawled out from under the console and nodded at Col. Sheppard, "It's fixed."

"What's fixed?" Dr. Weir asked, suddenly very curious and very suspicious.

"Oh, nothing, just an ancient store room full of ancient molding things." Rodney stuttered.

Sheppard sighed, "What he's trying to say, is that we redirected a bit of power to a room that me and Ronon found."

"What's so special about this room?"

Rodney was about to say something about the thermodynamics of the planet, but Sheppard cut him off.

"It's got a really huge screen, me, Ronon, and Rodney were just about to head over and test it out with some movies I brought with me from Earth."

"Oh, what type of movies?"

"Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Bloodsport."

"I'm afraid to ask, so I think I won't." Dr Weir nodded to them, then walked towards a computer where a technician was motioning her over.

Sheppard shrugs and heads done a corridor with Rodney close behind. They only make it half way to the nearest list when Weir's voice makes them stop.

"You'll want to see this, and I suggest you get Ronon as well, you're going to have to cancel the movie time."

"What's going on?" Ronon's gruff voice asked from somewhere behind Dr Weir's back.

"The ancient planetary database has a peculiar entry for one of their planets." Rodney said excitedly.

"And?"

"Apparently there is a planet that the Ancients labeled as 'Safe from the Wraith"

"What?!" Ronon asked incredulously as he peered over Weir's shoulder to look at the screen. "How are they safe?"

"We don't know," Weir replied, "The only listing they have on the Planet is the name, gate address, and those four words."

"They should be glad their planet doesn't have 'Mostly Harmless' as their entry," Sheppard asked with a grin. McKay picked up on the reference and chuckled. Weir and Ronon just stared at them blankly.

Weir shook herself out of her reverie and stood straight up and faced them. "Gentlemen, I want you and Dr. Carson to visit the planet, collect samples, contact the local inhabitant, if any, and see if there is anyway we can find out what makes this planet so special. You depart as soon as you are ready."

"So, what, like fifteen minutes?" Sheppard asked.

"Ten, if you could." This drew a rather disgruntled look from Rodney.

"What about Dr. Carson? Surely he'll need more time to get all his stuff together."

"He's already ready, I informed him of the situation while we were waiting on Ronon. So, if you could, go get ready." Weir shooed them away with her hands.

"All right, are we ready to go?" Sheppard asked as he looked behind him at the rest of the team.

"Yes," Rodney responded, garnering an eye roll from Ronon and a muttered 'Finally' from Dr. Carson. "Hey, who knows what things we'll find on this planet. For all we know there could be giant radioactive mushrooms or huge carnivorous plants. Not only that, but we have no idea what the condition on the surface will be like, what if it's a huge ball of water, or an enormous desert planet?"

"I'm sure everything will be fine." Sheppard pressed a button on the control panel in front of him. "This is Puddle Jumper 2, we're all ready here."

"Roger Puddle Jumper 2, the gate is standing by and ready."

Sheppard brought the ship down and aimed it at the rippling wormhole. "See you in a few," he sent over the comms.

"Roger that Col. Sheppard, remember, check in an hour after landing and God speed."

The Puddle jumper smoothly passed through the event horizon of the wormhole and launched itself through half a galaxy.
