"It was like a sixth sense. I knew exactly where to find her."
I had been running for what seemed like a life time when I finally saw her. It was just a glimpse of one of her braids, but I knew I was on the right track.
"She's this way!" I yelled back to the rest of the group. I was the leader of the witch hunters and since I had been assigned this role we had been more successful than ever. We had found the green one a week earlier and melted her. Of course I have the little one to thank, for she told me where to find Elphaba. But no witch could be spared, even if she had helped us kill another one. We ran faster now that we knew which way we were going. In no time at all we had cornered her. She looked frantically for a way to escape, but there were none.
