Hermione was sat in the library reading her favourite ever muggle story. She hadn't believed her eyes when she had been scanning the books and found a tatty copy of Romeo and Juliet. She had always loved Shakespeare and this had always been her favourite play of his; she had also been lucky enough to go to Verona with her parents a few years back. Looking up she noticed the clock on the wall and realised she had been sat in the library for over two hours. She quickly gathered up her stuff and headed back up towards the common room.
As she walked through the corridors her mind kept wondering to the book she had just been reading, suddenly she bumped into someone, scattering all there's, plus her own, stuff everywhere.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was goi-" she started but then realised who she had just bumped into and changed her tune.
"Actually I'm not" she said with a smirk, making Draco grow even angrier.
"You'll pay for this" he said before picking his stuff up and walking in the other direction. Hermione picked up her stuff which was still on the floor. Then quickly headed towards the Gryffindor common room to dump her stuff and go down for diner.
Draco was disgusted in the fact that the filthy mudblood had actually touched him and not said sorry or offered to pay if he caught a disease. He reached the Slytherin Common Room but just as he placed his bag and books down something caught his eye.
"hey stranger, where have you been all afternoon?" said Ron scooting over on the bench so Hermione could sit down.
"The library" she told them helping herself to some pumpkin juice.
"Should have guessed, what where you reading this time" said Harry who was sat opposite to Ron
"Rome and Juliet" she said with a smile
"Who and Who?" said Ron looking confused.
"it's the most romantic muggle story ever" said Hermione. Then she helped herself to some food and started eating.
Half an hour later and the trio had finished there dinner for the night and were sat talking.
"Hey Harry have you noticed it has been particularly quite at the Slytherin table without Draco." Asked Ron; Harry and Hermione both turned towards the Slytherin table, neither one have them had actually noticed he wasn't there. But now that Ron mentioned, it was rather quite.
"How can you miss diner," said Ron, "I would be too hungry"
"Not everyone eats like you Ronald, and maybe he's just coming later" said Hermione. "Anyway we shouldn't dwell on the negative; we should be celebrating" said Hermione making both Harry and Ron chuckle.
Suddenly out of nowhere Draco showed up at there table, carry what looked like a book. Without one word he throw it down on there table and headed towards his own.
"What the hell." Said Ron
"Hey Hermione, isn't that the book you said you were reading?" asked Harry noticing it was a copy of Romeo and Juliet
"Yeah it is" said Hermione.
"Erm… why does he have it?" asked Ron looking suspicious
"He bumped into me as I was walking from the library. He must have picked it up while picking his stuff up" said Hermione simply before the trio retrieved back to the common room.
