Hello!
I've decided to write a multi-chapter even though this was originally written as a one-shot and never published. The first chapter is kind of short, sorry! Please leave a review (even if you don't like it, that way I can improve). Thanks!
DISLCAIMER: I don't own Doctor Who or any characters associated with it.
"I love you," He whispered in her ear, sending tingles down her spine. She turned around, grabbing him and pulling him in for the long-awaited kiss. His lips tasted like something she couldn't quite put her finger on (probably some kind of alien food), but, surprisingly, it was a good taste. Then, she heard it. The sound she had longed to hear for two whole years, a sound she couldn't get enough of.
The TARDIS.
She parted from his lips and turned around to see the TARDIS fading away, leaving her universe to go back to where it belonged. She ran to it, as if she could catch it, as if it would realize who it was leaving and come back to wait for her.
She stood there, staring at the place where the TARDIS had been. He stepped forward, grabbing her hand. She may have a Doctor with her, but the Doctor was still out there… still traveling the universe. And in that universe he was alone, waiting for her.
The Doctor grabbed her hand, pulling her away from her thoughts. She turned to look into his big brown eyes, and before she could say a word he pulled her in for another kiss.
"I love you, Rose Tyler."
"I love you too, Doctor."
He smiled at her, pulling her into a warm hug. She let herself get lost in his embrace, overwhelmed by the feeling of being with him again. A feeling she suspected she might never get over.
"Doctor, before we go home… I have something I need to tell you."
"What is it, Rose?"
"It wasn't Jackie that was pregnant, Doctor. It was me."
