As you have probably noticed, I love writing kid!fics, and this seemed an okay idea? I got it while I was pretending to play sports, but it should be longer than they normally are. I actually got this idea whilst looking at my joggers (sweatpants, to you Americans). Oops? This is set in 2013, so its a modern kid!fic. Pretty much, Jess and Cece both moved to Chicago (Schmidt already lives there) and they meet the guys. They (Jess and Cece) made friends because they were both new. Hope you enjoy.
Jessica Day - the newest addition to Greendale Elementary School - sat cross-legged on the grass, browsing the playground. Her raven hair was tied back into a neat ponytail and her flowery dress was completely uncreased. She lay on her back and closed her eyes, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
Nicholas Miller - the one who had few friends and everyone knew he wasn't going anywhere - was the first to spot the sleeping girl. The bell had rung nearly an hour ago now, and Nick had been sent to find her.
He had checked all around the school, asking fellow students and helper teachers, but none had seen her. He finally decided to look outside and spotted her. Nervously running towards Jess, he held his breath.
Nick tapped her on the shoulder and she woke up, reaching into her jacket and producing a can. Before he could notice that it was pepper spray and run away, she was spraying him in the eyes with it.
Nick let out an aggravated scream, toppling over on his feet and landing on his back. His eyes quickly turned red as the little girl tried to help him, attempting to lift him up.
"Don't! You'll break your back!" He yelled, rubbing at his sore eyes.
"I'll take you to the medical room, alright? Come on, hurry up." She wrapped an arm around his shoulder and guided him back into the tall, brick building. The medical room wasn't far away, and there was always a teacher.

"I can't believe you pepper sprayed me, Day." Nick laughs as they walk through the assembly hall, playfully pushing her.
"I thought you were a strange old man trying to attack me." She tried to defend herself, a giggle escaping her lips.
"A strange old ma...how the hell would a strange old man get into our school? We have a lot of security, okay. Oh, look, a hockey game. Wanna watch?" He offered, nodding his head in the direction of the brutal game of hockey.
"Uh, sure. I gotta be home by five, though. What about you?"
"Any time. My mom and dad don't care, 'cos my mom has to look after my brothers and my dad is probably conning somebody." He led her to the bleachers where he took a seat.

"Ignoring the whole pepper spray incident, I like you, Day." Nick told Jess as they walked out of the school, chatting about the game.
"I like you too, Miller." She replied, feeling her cell phone buzz in her pocket.
She slips it out and sees the name Mom flashing across the screen. "Oh, its my mom, I should probably take this..." She said, gesturing to the phone.
"Get it, I'll be over here." He walked over to the bench area in the park they were at, where he took a seat and played on his own phone.

"Hi, Mom." Jess answered.
"Jessica Day, where are you?"
"I'm with my new friend Nick, we're at the park. We just got out of school. I kinda accidentally pepper sprayed him, and then we watched a hockey game." She explained.
"Get home this instant!"
"Okay. We'll walk. Bye bye." She hung up the phone and called Nick over, continuing to walk.
They reached Jess's house in fifteen minutes, Nick insisting on walking her there in case she "actually got attacked by a strange man."
"Thanks, Nick. I had fun today. I'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"Yep. I don't live too far away, I'll come with my friends Schmidt and Winston to walk you to school." He said, smiling.
"And I'll bring Cece." She agreed, returning the grin.
"See you in the morning, Blue Eyes."
"In the morning, Turtle Face."
