FRIDAY 9-27-2012

She was one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. How had Cato never noticed her before? Naturally, he asked for her name.

"Clove" she answered quietly, then returned to her two friends that were also staying after school to work on another one of Haymitch's overly demanding pottery projects. So much for a blow off class.

"I'm Cato," he knew he really didn't need to give her his name; him and Finnick Odair were the two hottest guys at Panem High. "Are you sure you're a sophomore? I've never seen you before."

"Would you like to check my student ID?" Who did he think he was, speaking to people like that? He really was the asshole people said he was.

Cato laughed. She seemed shy, an easy conquest. Cato would have her under his belt by the end of the week. "So what's your-" Cato's phone buzzed before he could finish his sentence. Oh we'll, Panem high was small, he could track her down in the hallways. All Cato could think of the way home was Clove, and how to win her over.

"Now that that asshat's gone we can actually talk!" Clove said with a laugh
"Are you sure you're a sophomore?" Clove's friend, Madge said, mocking Cato. They spent the rest of their time after school talking about how Cato was rather annoying and not even close to as hot as Finnick.

MONDAY

Cato didn't even need a plan. A nobody like Clove would be wrapped around his finger in no time. There she was now. "Hey Clove!" He called out. Clove looked at him, blushed, and walked away like she didn't hear him. Cato tried it 4 more times that day and got the same result.

"Clove!" This was the fifth time this has happened, but Clove still turned red with embarrassment. Clove had been trying to stay out of everyone's attention since 7th grade, and now Cato freaking Ohara is screaming her name in the hallway. Normally, she would tell him off, but that would cause an even bigger scene. Clove tried her hardest to ignore him Monday. And Tuesday. And Wednesday.

THURSDAY

Clove was more of a challenge than Cato was expecting. He liked challenges. Cato would just have to force Clove to acknowledge him. She obviously liked him, she blushed whenever he said her name.

Clove also had a plan. A plan to get Cato to leave her the hell alone. If she didn't give him any reaction, he would give up and find an easier girl to play. But ignoring him was getting hard to do.

This is just the intro and my first ever story so comment please:) Oh yeah how would you feel if it didn't go in order bc I have an idea for a chapter in the summer
