Yeah..i've long finished watching Vampire knight but as much as I tried to I really can't take the fact that Yuuki chose Kaname over Zero..i'm not instigating a war here but I just want to spill this out and so I made this poem.
I was also inspired by a song: Better than Me by Hinder…yeah..too much angst.
So, I'll let you read the poem first before I reveal what I was really trying to convey.
Disclaimer: I do not own Vampire Knight ( how I wish but never..ouch!)
"And I want no one to see ,These walls of pain slapping me"
As much as I want to drift away
No answer can match the whys
Of my inability to do what I say
And skip the moments of lies.
I'm telling myself not now,
That only attachment describes the how
And nothing beyond that defines
The dreams I have, it's you I find.
And I want no one to see
These walls of pain slapping me
When you're not here beside me
'Cause you never have the will to stay.
Yet a fraction of this solitary air
Makes me smile to know you're there
With your life and happiness
Even when I'm alone in distress.
Is there a need for me to explain?
The last stanza is obvious actually. So here's how it goes: Zero can't help feeling his affection for Yuuki but still tries to control it and to drift away. And though, it pains him hard to accept that Yuuki can never be his, he's contented knowing Yuuki is already happy with her love…and you know who it is..Kaname.
Honestly, I've also made a poem in Yuuki's POV that's actually a reply to this poem of it's up to you my readers if you're interested to read it or no more. Just give me the cue.
Again, Love yah! Updates will be soon! Finals are about to start and I just have to take time studying harder. Don't want to experience failure this time. I've had enough last year.
