Hi Fellow-Fan-Fic-ers,

I have decided to do a collection of poems.

If you want, you can leave me a prompt and a situation, but I don't know if I can make it happy...

Enjoy!

Prompt: laughter

Summary: Prowl reflects on his duty as second command and head tactician.

Characters: Prowl

They laugh,

They dance,

They do because they can.

A comrade lives,

An enemy dies,

But all their lives,

Are in my hands.

Their life coats me,

A second layer of armour.

They're lost in the clamour,

The din,

Of the war.

Many curse my name,

Call me their life's bane.

But they don't know,

That every loss is my own.

Every death,

Means I die a little more.

I hide behind logic,

Because I can't bear the pain,

The pain of death.

Of trust.

Of guilt.

Of life.

Of love.

I can't share the load,

It's my burden to handle.

No one can know,

No one can know,

All those things,

That I keep with me.

So,

I sit in the corner,

Hidden by shadow,

Watching them all.

Protecting them with love,

Joy,

And acceptance of my fate.

I smile softly,

Their laughter is my strength,

My pillar and my support.

So I thank them.

For saving me,

Their second,

Their saviour,

Their silent guardian.

I hope you liked it!
