Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's "Bulgy Rides Again" from Season 7, with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
The Island of Sodor is a wonderful place for vacationers during the summertime. The engines happily show vacationers the wonderful sights to be seen.
But this year, there was a problem. Thomas and Emily were being repaired, and Sir Topham Hatt was worried.
"We have more vacationers than ever before and I need a way to carry more passengers." said Sir Topham Hatt.
"And fewer engines!" said Emily.
"A double-decker problem!" added Thomas.
When Sir Topham Hatt heard this, he instantly remembered something.
So Sir Topham Hatt drove to Bulgy's field. Bulgy is a double-decker bus, but was turned into a hen-house after behaving badly.
"I'm going to put you back on the road!" said Sir Topham Hatt.
"Thank you sir!" said Bulgy. "I'm going to be the best bus ever!
Bulgy didn't like being a hen-house anyways.
The next day he went to see Thomas and Emily at the Works.
"What are you doing here Bulgy?" asked Thomas.
"I'm being repaired so I can go back on the road!"
"I think you'll be helping the new farmer deliver his vegetables around Sodor!" said Emily.
"I'm carrying passengers, not vegetables!"
Soon, Bulgy was refitted in and out. He was smart and shiny.
When he returned to his field, the hens thought their old house looked splendid.
"We'll start in the morning." said Bulgy's driver. "You'll stay here tonight!"
Bulgy was soon sound asleep.
But the hens missed their old home, and started to climb aboard, falling asleep in the luggage racks. Bulgy knew nothing.
The next morning, Bulgy picked up lots of passengers.
"All aboard!" he tooted as he set away for the station.
He was driving so smoothly, that the hens didn't wake up.
All was well, until they came across Trevor, who was pulling a hay cart.
"Get out of my way!" called Bulgy.
He overtook Trevor, and swerved across the road, causing the hens to wake up!
The passengers screamed, and Bulgy's driver lost control!
"Get these hens out!" screamed the passengers. "We want to get out!"
Bulgy driver managed to stop the bus. The passengers were covered in feathers and broken eggs, and were very cross.
"This bus is very unsanitary!" they complained. "We shall tell Sir Topham Hatt!"
"It's not my fault!" sulked Bulgy.
Sir Topham Hatt sent Bulgy to be cleaned.
"You can have your silly hens and passengers!"
"The farmer still needs help with his vegetables!" said Emily.
"That's not a bad idea!"
"And we're back carrying passengers!" smiled Thomas.
Bulgy is now very happy. He has new green paintwork, and a smart serving hatch. He likes carrying vegetables because they don't lay eggs, and never complain!
