"No, no! You hold them like this!" Kel demonstrated for what seemed like the millionth time.

"It seems like a rather useless skill," Neal commented.

"You're the one who wanted to learn this. So shut up and pay attention."

"But it's so much more entertaining to annoy you."

A glare from Kel shut him up.

Neal resumed his practice. They had been at this for over an hour. In hindsight, it probably had not been the wisest idea to try to learn this skill at dinner.

"These things are slippery!"

"Yes Neal, they are hard to eat with at first. But you did want to learn to impress Yuki," Kel reminded him.

"I know. I really can't see the point now though. It's impossible," he said through a mouth full of food.

"Don't talk with your mouth full. And I just wanted to point out, there's food in you mouth. You managed it."

"YES! I finally learned how to use these chopsticks!" Neal shouted, holding said eating utensils up in the air triumphantly.
