It's in our nature.
"This can't be happening!" Cas sobbed into his pillow. Gabriel sat next to him, running his hands through his little brothers hair soothingly. "It's ok, pup. We'll find you a good home." This just made Cas cry more, "I don't want to go somewhere else! I want to stay here as an Alpha." Gabriel laid next to Cas his arms around his waist taking in his scent. This is in no way sexual, Werewolves thrive on touch and scent and families are always close. "You know there is nothing else we can do, we'll make sure that the Alpha/Beta will take care of you." Cas rolled over and let Gabriel calm him down with that comforting woodland smell, slowly into an uneasy sleep. When he awoke he saw that his brother had already gone downstairs, Cas rolled off the bed reluctantly and shifted- kneeling down with his eyes closed- where the brown haired boy in a trench coat stood, there was now a hazelnut wolf, with eyes like an ocean, sparkling, his face registering no emotion. He nudged the door open with his nose, and crept downstairs. "Cas?" Cas jumped around startled, his fur on end and teeth bared, to see his father looking down at him. Cas whimpered apologetically, tail between legs and flattened his ears." Now he was an omega he had to respect Alphas and betas, do as he was told, and not speak until spoken to. His opinions didn't matter, not anymore. "Cas?" Chuck asked again, this time with less uncertainty. "What are you doing? Shift back now!" The Alphas command loomed over Castiel like a ten ton weight. Reluctantly he turned back to that messy haired boy in a trench coat- tears streamed down his face as he looked at the ground. Chuck didn't want his son to end up like this; no loving parent would.
