Thwuck! Thwuck! Thwuck!

The Apollo campers let out a collective cheer for Lee Fletcher, their brother, as the latter's arrows landed thrice right in the centre of the bullseye, the arrows splitting one after the other. A smug grin crept onto Lee's face as he high-fived his siblings, and shot a challenging look over at the Ares kids nearby, who returned it with death glares.

"That was awesome, Lee!" one of the youngest siblings, Daphne, cheered. Lee grinned and ruffled her hair. Daphne was a new arrival who had came to camp two days back, barely eight years of age. Their father had ensured she made it safely to camp after her mother died.

"Do I really have to do this?" asked a voice. Lee turned to see Percy Jackson reluctantly taking a bow and a quiver of arrows from Michael Yew. "You know I suck at archery."

Michael laughed. "That is an understatement, but no can do, Percy. Just ten shots, come on!" While her brothers conversed with the son of Poseidon, Daphne strayed away from the company of Apollo campers to get a better view of the practising archers.

Percy nocked an arrow, and took aim. The arrow flew right past the top of the target. His second and third arrows hit the same tree, irritating the dryad living there.

"There is such a thing as a target, Percy!" Lee mocked.

Percy glared at Lee, but he knew the son of Apollo was only joking. "Watch out, Lee! I will cream you in sword-fighting!" he grinned. Turning back to the targets, Percy released his fourth arrow.

"Ow!"

Everyone turned at the scream, their eyes widening. Daphne stumbled over to her siblings, clutching her bleeding hand, tears streaming down her face. Percy's arrow had grazed it before landing on another tree near which the daughter of Apollo had been strolling.

"Oh my gods. Will!" Lee called for his brother. Will Solace hurried forwards and knelt before Daphne, reaching out to see her wound.

"Don't worry, Daph, Will's our best healer," Michael consoled the girl, standing next to her. One of the reasons Michael loved his younger siblings was that he always towered over them.

As Daphne tentatively stretched out her injured hand to Will, the healer cleaned the wound with some nectar and placed his hands over hers, before beginning to mutter a Greek hymn to Apollo, but it only made Daphne burst into tears again, frightened by this unfamiliar act of healing.

"It's okay, Daphne," Will comforted. He raked his head for a different approach, and a particular Disney character sprang to mind. "Look, do you know the Disney princess, Rapunzel?"

Daphne nodded.

"Well, okay. I'm gonna sing the healing song, alright?"

"It works?" she asked, in a small voice.

Will winked. "We'll see." To be honest, he wasn't sure if it would. That would be up to his father, the god of healing. He shut his eyes and tried to remember the lyrics (which Kayla had sung over and over again for days after the entire cabin had watched the movie).

"Flower gleam and glow,
Let your power shine,
Make the clock reverse,
Bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt,
Change the fates' design,
Save what has been lost,
Bring back what once was mine,
What once was mine."

When Will removed his hands, Daphne's wound was gone.

"It worked!" Kayla clapped.

Daphne beamed up at Will. Though the latter knew he was going to be subjected to Rapunzel-related nicknames by the Ares cabin and some of his brothers, the smile on his little sister's face was worth it.

As Will returned to his siblings, he glanced up at the sun, squinting slightly. "You're the best, dad," he grinned.
