The fog is thick, clouds cover the sky, there is an unmistakeable chill to the air.

18 year old Sally Hurst is walking home from a party. Her boyfriend, Juan Valdez, had offered to drive her home, but she'd declined, preferring to walk.

Now here she was walking home alone. In the dark.

I should've taken Juan up on his offer. She thought. The wind kicks in. Just my luck.

She dug out her phone, ready to call Juan, when she hears singing. There were no words just a haunting melody. She shivered and kept walking, forgetting the phone clenched in her hand. Maybe it's just the wind she thinks. She paused as she listened, coming to a complete standstil.

The music was beautiful. Haunting, slightly creepy, but still beautiful.

She doesn't even realize it but she follows the sound, deeper into the forest.

Suddenly the music stopped.

Confused, Sally came to a complete halt, she looked around, not recognizing where she was, she turned in a full circle. Bad idea, any sense of direction she might of had was lost.

She heard something behind her. She turned slowly towards the sound. What she saw she hadn't expected.

A young man wearing filthy jeans, a loose, equally filthy, black shirt. Stood leaning against a tree watching her. His hair was longish just brushing the edge of his chin. Oh, good, maybe he can tell me the right way I'm supposed to go. The man looked older than her, maybe as old as her 26 year old brother.

"Um, hello?" She called. He tilted his head slightly. "Do you know the way to the Hurst homestead?" She asked. The man studied her, before nodding. "Oh, good. I'm a little lost," She admitted.

"Why are you even out her?" He asked. Oh gosh, his voice, it was sickly sweet, laced with a cold, menacing edge.

Maybe he doesn't like intruders on his property. The thought crossed her mind, "Umm, I'm on my way home from a party," She saw a smile cross his face. She didn't like it. Not one bit.

"So, you're lost?"

"Yes," She said slowly, wondering what he was getting at, she had told him that she was lost.

The man moved forward, and slowly circled her, "Don't you know what dangers lurk out here after dark?" He questioned. She shook her head. He moved closer so he was standing right behind her, his hand ran along her arm. Oh, no, he's going to... She shook the rest of the thought away. His hand tightened around her arm, and something dug cruelly into her arm drawing blood. She cried out.

Then right in her ear the man started singing, the same music she had heard earlier, the music that had lured her away to get lost deep in the forest.

She froze, the music seemed soothing, she didn't know why. But then she felt sleepy, and her eyes slowly started sliding closed, she forced them open, but she was so tired, her eyes slid shut.
