So, I've been wondering recently…what would happen if a fairy slipped in to Ella and Char's wedding? They would have to work a lot harder to achieve their happy ever after, that's for sure…

I am the daughter of King Charmont and Queen Eleanor. While it is true that the fairy Lucinda renounced her foolish over-use of magic, there is still at least one fairy who does not comprehend the harm that can come from such frivolous habits. This fairy is Lucinda's nephew, Bert. And although it is true that my mother is free of the curse of obedience which haunted her in her youth, it is not true that she is completely free…at least, she was not free for long.

On the day of my parent's wedding, the day which should have been the happiest day of their lives, a fairy—the frivolous and thoughtless Bert—sneaked into the castle. If this were any fairy other than Bert, this would not have been a problem. But at this time, a visit from Bert was an unknown evil—it could cause problems for unsuspecting hosts. No one knew who Bert was. But they would soon learn.

Now, my parent's wedding was a joyous day for everyone in the kingdom, and the party afterwards was possibly the most extravagant celebration this world has ever seen. Luxurious gifts were presented to my parents by nearly every one of the guests. People stood in lines just to shake hands with the bride and groom, and wish them a happy life together. But Bert did more than wish. When it was his turn to speak to my parents, he presented them with what he thought was a very generous gift. It was not a gift, but, rather, a curse. This curse was that my parents will be with each other always. Of course, when one first hears this, it sounds lovely and romantic, but once you see the effects it has on everyday life, you would agree that it is a burden to live with.

My parents cannot walk more than ten feet away from each other without becoming light-headed and dizzy, and a wall can never be in between them. Because of this, my father never leads his army, because he is afraid of what may happen to my mother. And nothing can be done in private, not even going to the bathroom.

Mother became more and more worried about fairies visiting and ruining our lives even further. She kept everything private from the kingdom to prevent any more unwanted visitors from coming. On the day of my birth, she wrapped me up in a blanket, put me in a basket along with her locket, to remember her by. Then Mother gave me to Mandy and instructed her to raise me as her own, and never, ever, let Bert near me. Of course Mandy protested and told Mother that she was being over protective. Father did not protest about any of this- either he knows that my mother would never change her mind about this, or they had already discussed it.

So, then, you think you know who I am? Well, I'll tell you. I am Princess Aurora, the long lost daughter of King Charmont and Queen Eleanor. But you can call me Rose.

Please review!! This is my first fanfic on this website...And I need writing tips from those who are more experienced. :p
