Note: In this, Qui-Gon is forty-five, and Obi-Wan was his first and only Padawan.
Obi-Wan and Anakin stood in the cockpit as they entered the atmosphere of the planet Anu. After they landed, a few guards were waiting to escort the two Jedi to the palace.
"Now remember, Anakin, you must show respect and proper manners before royalty. Let me do the talking."
"Yes, Master," the fifteen year old said.
When they entered the throne room, they approached the thrones and bowed to the king and queen.
"Your Majesties, I am Obi-Wan Kenobi, and this is my Padawan learner, Anakin Skywalker. You requested our assistance?"
"Yes. Our son did."
The Prince of Anu had requested them.
"Might I inquire where the prince is?"
Suddenly a warning came across the Force, and Obi-Wan and Anakin jumped to the side, just barely missing being sliced in half by two viro-blades.
A tall man, dressed in tunic much like the Jedi tunics and a cape with a hood and veil that now hid his face except for his eyes, stood before them. He tossed one viro-blade to Obi-Wan.
"I challenge you to a duel, Jedi."
Obi-Wan got up and picked up the viro-blade.
"Very well."
The duel was a sight to see. Both men were skilled warriors. They fought hard against each other, until the tall man finally disarmed Obi-Wan. He touched the tip of his blade to the Knight's chest.
"Match."
"Who are you?"
He sheathed his viro-blade.
"I am the Prince of Anu, but you know me better as..."
He pulled the hood and veil down, and Obi-Wan and Anakin gasped.
"Qui-Gon?!"
