"Sam kissed Freddie!" Carly screeches.

"Sam what?" I question.

"Sam kissed Freddie! And then she whispered 'Shh, don't tell Carly' She admitted while on loopy gas," \She wouldn't/ I mentally deny. Sam comes through the door, and walks towards the fridge.

"Sam, may I talk to you?" I ask my lover.

"Sure" She answers, not really paying attention. She hops up onto a stool, and looks over at me.

"Did you kiss Freddie?" I question.

"Where'd that idea come from? You know as well as I do that I would never cheat on my lover,"

"You said so yourself," Carly answers for me.

"I did not," She counters.

"Did too," Carly says like a five-year-old.

"Look, okay; You can ask Freddie. I didn't kiss him," She denies. Freddie comes in at that moment. I slam him into the wall.

"Did. Sam. Kiss. You?" I ask roughly.

"No. Why?"

"She said she did while on loopy gas," Carly tells them.

"Well, the gas does twist your mind. It can even twist someone's memories while still in their systems," Freddie explains. I look at Carly.

"Well, there we are then," I say.

TIME SKIP: THAT NIGHT

I awake when I feel someone slip into my bed. I turn over, opening my eyes, and see Sam. "Sam, what are you doing here?"
