"A frosty night in Macalania..." Said the rugged warrior, resting his sword on a rock and sitting down.

"Sir Auron." Said the young man beside him.

"I think we've been through enough that you can call me 'Auron', Wakka."

"Ya, ya, that whole informality thing huh?" Auron nodded. "Ya."

"Where's the newbie and Yuna?"

"I don't know. I think he went to talk to her." Said Wakka.

"Yuna busy at lake." Growled a voice behind them.

"Kimahri Ronso. Don't you want to sit down?" Auron gestured towards a 'comfy' rock beside him. The Ronso growled and stayed standing.

"Suit yourself man." Wakka spun his blitzball on his finger, stained with blood and sweat. He caught it and smiled. Kimahri growled again. "Auron?"

"Wakka?"

"What would Braska do if he was in this situation? Do ya think he'd carry on?"

"Braska loved the people." Auron looked behind them all to the lake and sighed. "Just like she does. She'll carry on. She knows she can't stop now."

"Sure? Certain?" The warrior shrugged and the sports star rested his head on his hand. Silence whistled through the trees and froze the lips of the three companions.

"Yuna does what Yuna wants. No one changes her judgement. Yuna's pilgrimage, no one else." The two men were shocked by this outburst from the usually soft-spoken Ronso.

"Wise words Kimahri." Kimahri seemed to blush and sat down by Wakka.

"But doesn't she see? She'll.. you know... Die. I don't want that to happen, ya?"

"None of us want to see that day, Wakka but I know that we'll be there for her because how do you think she feels? Huh? I know you're not trying to be, Wakka of Besaid, but you are sounding very selfish."

"Selfish? Me?"

"Ya." Chuckled Kimahri. Auron patted him on the back.

"Wakka, Yuna is very scared. She doesn't want to show it because the people are counting on her." He smiled. "A death of smiles."

"What-?" Wakka said, clueless.

"It's what Jecht and I called Braska's sacrifice. All the people were behind him, cheering him on, but really they knew. They knew it would take his life. It was like an execution. Painful and slow but Braska would do it. He wanted peace. He didn't want his daughter to be brought up in fear. Ironic huh?"

"You mean Lord.. Braska didn't want Yuna to do the pilgrimage?"

"Of course not. Would you march your only child onto a certain death? No, I wouldn't think so. Braska didn't want her ever to do that. He wanted her to live a normal life, in Besaid." Wakka started to cry.

"Oh man, this is all my fault! If I hadn't told her that she was amazing at summoning... Maybe she wouldn't... Oh my god..." Kimahri took Wakka's shoulder like a Ronso brother.

"Death is alien to all races of Spira. Remember what Seymour the Traitor said, 'Spira is a spiral of death.' I don't believe death should be given unless by the higher plain but he has a point. Let Yuna go."

"Wise words, Kimahri. Wise words."

*\______/* Hi guys! Sorry, I hope I didn't make you all depressed or nothing. These three guys I think are really strong but totally shadowed characters (I haven't finished the game so don't spoil it for me!) and I hope I gave you a view of my insight towards them. Okay! The second part of R+R comes in here so flames appreciated if not too harsh.

Peace out, MoogleChan (((((((((()))))))))) [I think that looks cool]
