Jeri Katou always rode the train. To school, from school. To Shinjuku, from Shinjuku. In the mornings, she'd pack up her stuff and head out to school. She's play and do work there, under the strict eye of Mrs. Asagi. And after school, she'd hang around to talk with everyone before walking with Rika to her house. There, she'd chat aimlessly with Rika, Rika's mother, and Rika's Grandmother. They were a happy family, Jeri knew, in that house. That's why she liked Rika's house.

At her own house, Jeri's father and stepmother were going through problems, and it was heading towards a divorce. Masahiko was out of the house a lot too. With a neighbor. Jeri would stay with Rika's family till 5:30. Then she would be forced to go home. She would head for the train station to catch one to Shibuya. From there, she would go home to endure the yelling and screaming that Shizue and her father made. Yes. Jeri Katou always rode the train. But never past Shibuya, or Shinjuku. Never.

Author's Note: I was going to make this one chapter, but I'll go for two. Not telling what's gunna happen next, mostly because I'm hopping from one foot to the next thinking, should this happen? Cus if it does, it'll be more than the number of chapters I want. And it's not plausible. Or do I want to continue with the original plan? So hard to think! Argh!
