NO COPYWRITE INFRIGMENT INTENDED

Book 1; Edward

The day I met Bella Swan is still the clearest memory I have.

Though the day happened quite a while ago, I could still feel the boredom of my colleagues in my French class at Community College in Manhattan. None of us wanted to be here. None of us even had any aspirations to do anything! I did have a band, like that would get anywhere. (Hear my sarcasm?) I was twenty-one thinking that going back to school after dropping out might give me some dignity. Well, It didn't. Only endless hours of studying and cheap beer. My Best friend Jasper also Joined me in getting a degree, though I'm pretty sure He only signed up to meet girls.

I was sitting in my French 1 class, not picking up anything the professor was saying. Then the scrawny old man's uninteresting speech was interrupted when the classroom door was suddenly opened.

A young woman-not any older than twenty-entered the room. She spoke briefly with our teacher before he turned and said, "Students this is our newest student. Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?" He muttered to the girl.

The new girl faced the students, (Who by this time where very interested in learning about the new addition.) "My name is Bella Swan. I moved here from La Junta, Colorado. Yes I am not a virgin, and No you can't sleep with me." Bella stated to the class boldly. I heard a few muffled laughs from the other students around me. Even the Teacher was taken by surprise.

I turned to Jasper, who sat a couple rows behind me. I thought I would be able to whisper to him that this Bella chick was a total freak from a town I had never even heard of, but all he did was wink at me! What the hell was that for? I wasn't able to make a audible sentence after I heard a small, irritated "Ehem!"

I looked up to see Bella Swan standing right in front of my desk. Well, not in front of my desk, in front of the empty desk beside me. Great. She plopped her bag down and took her seat. Almost immediately she started to stare me down.

I had to admit that it made me feel quite uncomfortable at first, but when I faced her to tell her to please stop I became entranced. I couldn't form a complete sentence. The way her crystal eyes poured into mine caused me to freeze, as if the icy covering they beheld had kept me in place forever. Even after she stared to focus on French I still continued to gaze at the mysterious girl. She had ringlets tightly curled in her sweeping pitch-dark hair. I also noticed that she had a thing with the color blue, which contrasted well with her black hair and her ashen skin. On the outside she seemed to be like any other young adult, but the way she held her neck seemed to give her the allusion of fake authority, and a strong outer shell.

Bella was beautiful, but very weird.

The day came and went. Every once and a while you would see students stopping to take a glance at the alluring new girl. Before long everyone knew there was an attractive American in our school named Bella Swan. Bella really didn't seem to dislike all the attention she was getting, in fact, She seemed to crave it. The funny thing is that I shouldn't even care. She is a new student that I sit next to in French, and she just so happens to be one of the prettiest girls I know. So what?

Come to think of it, I don't think she even knows my name. But then again...

Could a introduction hurt anyone?

A/N: I know this first chapter is Short and boring, but this is my first All Human story and I really needed to get the basis of all the main characters down. I promise you that the next chapter will be longer, have more dialogue, and contribute more to the plot. But only if this story gets read. If not, I'm ending it here.
