This is just a little fluff thing I wrote about Fred II and his dad. I thought it was cute and little sad for poor Georgie.

Reviews are welcome!

Freddie was playing in the Burrow living room with his cousins James and Rose when he over heard it.

"He really does look a lot like him, doesn't he?" Aunt Ginny was saying in the kitchen.

"It's only to be expected I guess. George was his twin after all." Uncle Ron replied as Freddie moved closer to the door so he could listen in. He wondered who they were talking about, why did they sound so sad?

"It's almost hard to look at him sometimes." Aunt Ginny said. "Merlin, it seems just like yesterday. I miss him."

"We all miss Fred." Uncle Ron told her. "It's just not the same without him here."

Freddie moved back over to James and Rose when he heard his Aunt and Uncle coming back into the living room. He didn't tell them he had over heard them, he honestly felt guilty about listening in on them. He was curious though. Who was Fred?

The rest of the day went on without incident, if you didn't count when James and Freddie made Rose cry by pulling on her pigtails. It was now late in the afternoon and the three cousins were falling asleep on the couch, almost all their energy gone from their earlier chasing of garden gnomes. Freddie didn't even notice his dad come into the Burrow but the second he did see him and walked over to him and pulled on his pants leg until he picked him up.

"Long day, Kiddo?" His dad asked and received a sleepy nod from his five year old. He told Aunt Ginny and Uncle Ron goodnight has he left the Burrow, carrying his worn out son.

"Hey, Daddy?" Freddie started. "Whose Fred?" His dad stiffened slightly at the question and Freddie thought he had said something wrong. Then his dad relaxed a bit.

"Where'd you hear that name?"

"Aunt Ginny and Uncle Ron were talking about him. They said they missed him. I know it's not be because I'm not Fred, I'm Freddie." He explained.

"Fred was your uncle." His dad started slowly. "He looked just like me, except with both ears." He said which little Freddie gave a slight chuckle at.

"What was he like? Was he funny like you?"

"Funnier at times. Of course I would have never told him that. When he and I were kids we used to get into the biggest trouble. Your Uncle Percy used to get so mad with us." He was smiling but he was also crying now. Freddie thought, this is the first time he's seen his dad cry. "You know Daddy's shop?" He asked and Freddie nodded. "Your Uncle Fred and I started it. It was both of our dreams to open it."

"What happened to him? Where is he?" Freddie asked.

His dad took a deep breath before answering. "He went to the same place Teddy's parents are at." He said, not having the heart to tell his son that Fred was dead. "He fought very bravely, like those heros in those muggle stories you like."

"He was like Super Man?" Freddie grinned.

"Yes, he was like Super Man."

"Am I named after him?" He asked and his dad nodded. "That's ok, he can still be Fred. Because like I said. I'm not Fred, I'm Freddie." He smiled.

That was the first time his dad had talked about Uncle Fred. It was also the first time Freddie had seen his dad cry. As little Freddie grew older his dad would tell him more about his uncle. Freddie noticed each time that his dad looked a bit happier after he talked about him. Freddie didn't even mind as much when people called him fred instead of Freddie. Because his Uncle Fred was like Super Man
