Dear Namine,
Hey love just two more weeks. Two more weeks until we come home. The days are long and the nights are longer. Its been eight months. Things have started to slow down, their attacks and few and far apart. We have a lot of down time, and to think I was scared to come over here. Sora got a picture of little Max. he's getting big. But you already know that, you see him everyday. He was crying, saying he got see his little boy in two weeks. It was the first time I've ever seen Sora cry. I even had to hold him and tell him it was going to be ok. I even teared up a bit when I realized that in a month I get to meet my little girl. I hope she looks just like you, blonde, thin frame and a heart that just melts my heart. Maybe I got lucky and she has my eyes.
Whatever the case I'm sure she is beautiful. I can't wait until we get there I miss you so much it hurts. I want to hold you, kiss you, wake up next to you. Two weeks until I get to come home. Namine I love you so much and I'll see you soon.
Love,
Riku.
I silently wiped my eyes. Trying my damnedest to avoid Roxas's stare. He hadn't said anything since the plane took off. He sat right in front of me, Hayner sat next to him. Riku was on my left. The Four Friends were together. For the last time. I felt the plane begin to descend. We were finally home it had been too long. Eight months as Riku had said to Namine. Slowly the plane descended to the earth. We hadn't seen our families for eight months. My first son had been born three months prier to us shipping out. Hayner and Selphie had a three year old and another one on the way. Roxas and Ollete had a four year old. Riku and Namine were expecting their first. Riku was so vibrant and ecstatic I'd never seen him so happy.
I felt the plane touch down. We were home. The plane taxied across the runway taking us closer and closer to our families. I turned and craned my neck around to look out the window. I could see them our families. Kairi and Max. Selphie and Michael. Ollete and Katelin. Namine looking pregnant as ever. A small smile graced my features. Finally the plane came to a stop. The engines shut down and the aft of the plane began to open. I unbuckled myself and stood up. I folded up the paper in my hand and tucked it away in my shirt.. Then I unbuckled and stood up. Hayner and Roxas stood next to me looking out the back of the plane at our families began to approach. We were home. The three of us turned to Riku.
"Come on buddy," I said "it's time we get you home. The three of us surrounded the casket and lifted it, carrying it to our Families.
We were home, but Riku was the only one who deserved it.
What do you think?
