Hi! This is a short introduction to a new concept I've been thinking about. Tell me what you think in the reviews!

Once King Adam declared the Isle of the Lost was to be created, he sent a squadron of his trusted soldiers to guard the Isle of the Lost. In truth, most of these men and women didn't make it--often killed by the villains or drove into madness themselves. King Adam stopped this program after three years, realizing it was horrendous to send Auradonian citizens to their death. He wouldn't know until much later that his soldiers became pawns to a much bigger plan: the spread of evil through the children of villains.

This is a story unlike any other, where it looks at those most evil in a different light. Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil were the most despicable and respectable villains on the Isle. Malicious, devious, cold hearted, absolutely insane. They were never ready for love but when it came, it turned their hearts a shade darker. They all came to realize once a villain, always a villain.

"King Adam's proclamation," an old man wheezed as he showed the newspaper to a younger fellow, "this is your name Henry. You-you were chosen."

"Major General Phoebus came to me last night, I heard about the news before it was published."

"Henry, can't you decline. Do something, anything to get you out of this."

"No dad, I can't. I swore on my life for the kingdom. I'll be okay."

Henry Drae's father, old man Lazarus sighed deeply. His days were as numbered as his son. "Don't you think it's ridiculous? How each member from the different kingdoms must send its best soldiers to guard the damn Isle? Can't the fairy lady place a stronger barrier or something? Better yet! Why not just leave them dead!"

"I don't know dad!" Henry yelled angrily, he was agitated and hungry, "this is what we have to deal with now." When he saw pain in his father's eyes, he took his hands and sighed, "please, pass the lamb stew."

Old man Lazarus shook his head, wishing he could change the fate of his only son.

"Ezra, David, and Gena were also recruited," Lazarus continued reading the newspaper as he held onto his glass of whiskey.

Henry grinned, "Yes, that's true." The young man couldn't imagine having this mission without them. "Besides dad, the proclamation clearly states a year, I've been deployed for longer."

"But you weren't dealing with the villains who've tortured us so long ago," his father reminded him.

Henry remained quiet as he finished his dinner at the Ugly Duckling with his dad.

He didn't know what was going to happen over the year but he was relieved to leave Auradon for a bit. He was adventurous, loyal, and cunning. Joining the KSF (King's Special Forces) was a family duty, passed on by generations--even old man Lazarus was a King's guard for the house of King Beast's family.

"Captain Drae," a young soldier called out to him, "You're needed at the castle." When Henry turned he saw the young soldier still bowing. Henry raised his hand and the boy went back into an upright position.

"Excuse me, father," Henry wiped his mouth before standing up. "I'll see you at home," placing a firm hand on his father's shoulder.

His dad held onto his hand, "Be safe, son." Henry gave him a dashing smile, and nodded. Old man Lazarus sighed, reminiscing the days of Henry's childhood and his small but happy family.
