AN: I do not own the Percy Jackson series I only own my characters and the story. If I did own Percy Jackson I defiantly wouldn't be writing this.

Chapter 1

Astrid's POV

I yawned and clambered out of my bed. It was nearly time for summer break. Yippee.

I hated summer, I always ended up locked in my bedroom while my step-mother Marisa whined about how much trouble I caused. Which was all of none. I hardly spoke, I did what I was told and managed to restrain from moaning about my miserable life, and yet she still managed to find something to complain about. She was constantly calling me stupid, but it wasn't my fault I had dyslexia, and the ADHD certainly didn't help! I was always being compared to my step-brother Adam, and it really frustrated me. He was smart and athletic and in Marisa's eyes the perfect child. He made me sick! He was like a clone of Marisa. Ugh, Marisa clones, now that's a terrifying thought! But little did I know that I wouldn't be forced to spend another summer in Marisa's lousy London apartment.

I was sat on the bus, about a half-hour later, when I heard some foot steps approaching. 'Ugh' I thought as I looked up to see Stacy Jhonson staring down at me, Lily, Monica, Sophie and Adriana stood behind her.

'Move,' she said.

'There... there are plenty of other seats," I mumbled, gesturing to the nearly empty bus. The only other passengers were two boys and a girl, one boy with dark hair was sat at the front next to a blonde girl and the other guy further back, easily in ear shot.

'Yeah,' she agreed. 'But I want that seat.'

'But I was here first...' Stacy was glaring daggers at me, her fists clenched. Then something horrible happened, Stacy began to morph into something hideous. Her neck grew scaly and long and her head became that of a dragons. I was so shocked that I didn't notice Lily, Monica, Sophie and Adriana changing too. Their bodies were morphing into one. A single word appeared in my mind. Hydra.
